Goodnight

"So...what is it that you wanted to talk to me about?" I hesitated to ask. Jeno's smile slightly dropped as he put the bookmark inside his book and layed it on the bedside table.

He looked at me deeply in the eyes and we just stayed like that for a few seconds. He then took a deep breathe and started speaking.

"I'm so sorry honey..." he sighed.

I turned my head in confusion. Was he apologising for what happened earlier?

"It's okay darling I-" I started to speak but was interrupted by Jeno.

"No. I tried to book our honeymoon to go to Paris but everything is booked until next month so I decided to book our honeymoon to Florida. I hope that is okay. It's not very romantic" he spoke while rubbing my hand.

I was so relieved...I thought he was going to be talking about what happened earlier but I guess we had passed that subject. I was hoping that it would never come up again.

"Yeah. That is totally fine. I don't mind where we go and it will be fun going to Florida. I only care that we go on a really nice holiday together" I spoke as we both got into bed.

He smiled and then we both talked for a little bit. Our conversations were about the wedding, our family and the future for both of us. I felt like I got to know Jeno a little more.

"Goodnight husband" I laughed to Jeno. I will admit, it felt weird calling him my husband. It didn't feel right. When I first started dating Jeno I was convinced we would get married and I had been secretly planning the wedding...however when he changed I couldn't see a future with him. Now I'm just confused.

"Goodnight wife" he answered back with a kiss. I smiled and turned around so I had my back to him. I couldn't help but blush slightly.

About 25 minutes later, Jeno put his book down and switched off the light. I was still awake as so many things were on my mind that I didn't realise the time passing. He snaked his arms around my waist and brought me close to him.

"Goodnight my queen. I'm so happy to finally be married to you. Let's have a beautiful future together" he whispered in my ear. I couldn't help but smile. I really wanted to kiss him but I held back as I was shy to do it and he would of known that I heard him.
