Jeno's hug feels cold, like he is about to do something. I feel Jeno's warm breath on my neck as he talks. "Look at the back to your left" he says. I look and see someone that I didn't expect to be seeing tonight....
It was Taeil.
My whole body freezes and stops moving when I see what is actually happening. A man has his arm around Taeil's neck with a gun to his head. I can see Taeil struggling from the man's grip and tears coming down his eyes. I was really angry because Jeno and I agreed to leave Taeil alone. Taeil mouthed my name as I stare at him. I look around and see that no one is noticing what is going on.
"I'm about to ask you something and if you say no then Taeil will get shot" Jeno says as his voice interrupts my thoughts. The music stops and everyone starts to circle around us. I try to look behind Jeno to see if I can see Taeil but he is no where to be seen. The crowd has covered him. Jeno stops hugging me and reaches into his pocket.
He pulls out a little red box....I'm scared, what does Jeno think he is doing? He then smiles to me and gets down on one knee. The girls squeal. I look around just looking at everyone looking at Jeno and I. My eyes land on Cassie and Archie, I notice that Cassie has got bruises on her face and it looks like she has been crying a lot. I see Archie beside her smiling widely. I look at Cassie again and give her a small smile.
My eyes shift back to Jeno as he takes my hand and starts to speak "Yn YLS. When I first met you I knew you were the one. You understood me better than anyone else and you helped me through everything. I gathered everyone here today because I wanted everyone to witness this beautiful moment. I was going to do this later but I thought, why not do it now? I just want you to know how much I love you. Will you marry me?" He says and opens up the red box to show a gorgeous diamond ring.
I really really wanted to say 'no' but I wanted Taeil to not get hurt. I cover my mouth and pretend to be happy. Tears start rolling down my face, not because I'm happy, but because I will be stuck with Jeno for the rest of my life.
I nod as I scream "yes". Claps are heard all around the room as Jeno puts the ring on my finger.
He hugs me and says to me "good girl. Taeil is now free and on his way home". I'm glad that he let Taeil go. Jeno hugs me for a bit more, he feels more warm and it feels genuine.
We stop hugging and he wipes my tears away as he kisses me.
That kiss.
It felt warm and soft, it felt nice and it was something I needed.
Wait what am I saying? I'm supposed to be hating this....what's wrong with me?
People start coming to us congratulating us both. We all sit down at our table as cake is served to everyone.
I can't stop looking at this gorgeous ring on my left hand. It must of costed around about £1,500,000 or maybe even more.
It is pretty.
