Psycho Ex

Why?

My mum, dad and brothers all made a speech and I felt emotional, tears were pouring down my eyes which caused my mascara to run down my cheeks. Jeno gave me a quick kiss and held my hand which made me feel better.

Jeno's family then made their speeches which got Jeno a little emotional too. After everyone made their speeches it was now time to have my dance with my dad and then Jeno.

I walked up to the dance floor and started to slow dance with my dad. It felt magical and i started crying even more. After, Jeno then took my hand and started to dance with me. I felt relaxed in his arms.

"I love you" he whispered in my ear, I looked him in the eyes and whispered "I love you too".

Now it was time for us to party and shake our stuff on the dance floor. Everyone joined Jeno and I. It was so much fun and I felt so free. I didn't want this party to end.

The next song just started to play but I had to sit out as my feet were throbbing in my heels. I gently limped to my seat and collapsed on it. I took off my heels to give my feet a breathe. Jeno noticed that I was in pain and came over.

"Hey, are you okay?" He asked in concern.

I nodded and smiled "yeah I'm fine. I've just been dancing a little too much so I'm just going to rest" I smiled as Jeno gave me a kiss.

He then sat next to me and said "I'll stay with you".

I smiled and just watched everyone dancing. I couldn't help but move my body to the beat. After a few minutes, my feet were feeling a lot better. I put my heels back on and stood up.

Just as I was about to go back on the dance floor, Taeil came over. He seemed nervous because Jeno was watching every movement Taeil was doing.

"Hey Yn, would you-would you like to dance with me?" He stuttered while playing with his fingers.

"Yes! Of course you-" I said but I was interrupted by someone behind me.

"No" the person stated. I turned around to see Jeno staring at both of us. I rolled my eyes and shook my head.

"Jeno. Stop being childish" I groaned. Jeno sighed and had his arms crossed. None of us said anything for a good 30 seconds.

Jeno then spoke up "Fine. I will only let you have her for 4 minutes and that's it". I wanted to protest but I knew that Jeno would start to reduce the time that Taeil and I could spend together.

Taeil took my hand and we both went on the dance floor. "Shower" by Becky G started to play (a party song recommended by Siri haha). Taeil and I danced so much together while singing the lyrics too.

There was one part of the song which made me think:

"You light me up like the fourth of July
Whenever you're around I always seem to smile
And people ask me how, and you're the reason why
I'm dancing in the mirror
And singing in the shower"

While singing that part I seemed to think about Jeno. I wasn't thinking about Taeil.

But why?

Jeno was the one to force me in this marriage. I wanted to marry Taeil.

So, why was I thinking about Jeno?
