I hold my dad's hand as he takes me down the aisle. Jeno starts crying which then makes everyone cry. Jeno is just pretending to cry and I know it. My dad took to where Jeno was and went to sit down.
Jeno gently took my hand and looked me directly in the eyes. I looked at him. My eyes kept switching between his eyes. Left eye, right eye, left eye and back to the right eye. I was trying to find an answer in his eyes....I was trying to find if Jeno actually loved me, did he do this just to get Taeil jealous? What would he benefit from if I was his wife? I just wanted to know the answer and I wanted to know it by the end of today.
Jeno nominated one of his closest friend to be our Marriage officiant. He stood a few steps away from my left but in the middle. "Welcome, family, friends and loved ones. We gather here today to celebrate the wedding of Yn and Jeno. You have come here to share in this formal commitment they make to one another, to offer your love and support to this union, and to allow Yn and Jeno to start their married life together surrounded by the people dearest and most important to them.
"So welcome to one and all, who have traveled from near and far. Yn and Jeno thank you for your presence here today and now ask for your blessing, encouragement, and lifelong support for their decision to be married."
Jeno's best friend continues to talk but I barely listen. I'm too focused on Jeno's eyes and the way he looks at me, I occasionally look at my left to see Jeno's best friend while he talks and I occasionally look to my right where my family are to see them crying.
It was now time for us to make our speeches and I became nervous.
