Speeches

It was now time for us to make our speeches and I became nervous.

I was first.

I wrote a speech which was really difficult to do because I didn't know what to say, it took me a few days to complete it. The day before the wedding, Jeno had already prepared a speech for me to say but I refused and told him I wrote a speech myself which he was surprised at but he smiled.

I take out a small folded piece of paper from my dress pocket. I unfold it and look at the black ink scribbled on the paper. I take a deep breath and start to read.

"Dear Jeno.

I'm not perfect and I make mistakes. I can be moody sometimes, annoying sometimes and just not want to speak but I want you to know that I love you. Every time I say it, I want you to know that i mean it. When we broke up a few years ago, I didn't know what to do. My heart was broken without you and I found it really difficult to pick up the pieces. After a while, we both decided to get back together again. I was nervous and scared but I decided to go along because I had missed you. I realised you changed a lot too but I managed to work with it. You made me feel like a princess again and made me feel special by introducing me to your beautiful family. We have become closer than ever during these couple of months. When you proposed to me, I knew I wanted to spend my whole life with you which is why we are here today celebrating you and me getting married.

Thank you.

Thank you for marrying me. I love you"

I said and put the piece of paper carefully back into my pocket. I looked to see the whole venue in tears. Was my speech that good? I didn't mean some of the things that I said. For example, I didn't want to get back together but Jeno kidnapped me.

Jeno gave me a quick kiss which sent fireworks through my body. "Thank you baby" he whispered in my ear. I gave him a smile.

It was now time for Jeno's speech.

He opened up his piece of paper and began to read what he wrote.

"Today, as I give myself to you, my mind is clear and my commitment is strong. All that I have to offer you is my love and joy. Because of you, I laugh, I smile and I am finally happy with you. You are my dream come true, you are my world, you are the joy in my heart, the laughter in my voice, and the smile on my face. We compliment each other so beautifully and together we can face anything, we can be comforted knowing that we will never have to face anything alone. The first time you kissed me was when I knew we shared something special, it wasn't long after that I fell in love with you and realised that you are the one that is meant to spend my life with. I could feel it in my heart. You are the most incredible woman I have ever known and you make me feel so special every single day. I am so excited to be spending our lives together. You are the love of my life and I promise to take care of you and help you with anything that you need. I love you Yn"

Jeno looked back up to see tears rolling down my cheeks. He gently touched my cheek and leaned in to give me a kiss. I gave him a long and genuine kiss. He smiled and we continued with the wedding.

"Do you, Lee Jeno, take Yn Yls to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

Heyy!! How are you?

Today i sat down and just wrote for an hour sooooooo I hope this part is good! I made it a little longer! I'm sorry about Yns and Jeno's speech, I had no idea what to write because I'm so bad at writing speeches 😂
