Nadia sat in Ganondorf's arms as she trembled, staring at the well lit floor. "What if it comes back when we fall asleep?"

"I'm staying awake." Ganondorf said. "Nothing is going to get you." He looked at her. "But you should get some rest. It's a big day tomorrow."

"You think I can sleep now?" She looked up at him. "There's no way I'm sleeping!"

"Nadia, you're safe." He kissed her cheek. "I'm protecting you."

"Ganondorf, how do you fight a shadow?" She huffed. "I love you but there's no possible way!"

"Trust me, Nadia." He said softly. "It's going to be okay..." He nuzzled her. "I'm here and nothing is going to happen to you."

Nadia closed her eyes, her shaking starting to fade. The comfort of his embrace and voice was starting to take effect and her adrenaline was starting to wear off and her exhaustion hit again. "Ganondorf...?"

"Yes Nadia?"

"Thank you..." She nuzzled into him.

He smiled and stroked her hair. "It's my duty, no need to thank me..."

Nadia smiled and nuzzled more into his arms, her exhaustion quickly taking over and she fell asleep.

Nadia's eyes snapped open, finding herself on the ground of an open field, the sky black. She stood, confused. "W-Where am I...?" She looked around. "Is...Is this Hyrule Fields...?" She turned and gasped, jumping in surprise. She was faced with the impaled body of Ganondorf, the Thief King's body, the Master Sword deep inside of him. She stared in shock and looked down at the blade. "B-But...The Master Sword was returned...What is happening?" She walked cautiously up to the body that still stood on its legs. "So this is what you looked like..." She looked him over. "My great grandfather..." She shook her head in disgust. "I can't believe that I share the same blood as you."

"So do I." A voice came from behind her.

She let out a scream and whipped around. Her blood turned cold when she saw Ganondorf standing before her, parts of his body flickering in and out of shadow. "Y-You! You're dead!"

"Unfortunately." He growled. "Your great grandmother and grandmother made sure of that." He walked up to her, towering over her small frame. "And here you are, the great granddaughter of the feared Gerudo King, and wielder of the triforce of power."

Nadia took a step back. "You can't do anything to me! This is a dream and you're dead!"

He grabbed her roughly and she let out a scared cry. "Are you sure about that?!" He looked at the marking on her hand. "Ahhh, I see that the triforce has already awakened inside of you."

Nadia yanked her hand away and glared at him. "My bloodline is full of proud rangers who were willing to carry this burden! My great grandmother made a sacrifice that she never wanted to make just to keep Hyrule safe!"

"Raina was a woman who fell in love with a monster and cried over my death!" He roared. "The people glorify her because she fired that arrow inside of me, but she wanted the triforce to stay in my bloodline!"

"That's not true!" Nadia snapped. "Grandmother and mother both know that isn't true too! She was in love with a woman and sacrificed herself for the better of Hyrule! She wished to be with the Oracle of the Forest but you took that from her!"

"You think you know a woman you have never met better than the man who laid with her every day for seven years?" He growled.

"You don't know anything about Raina!" Nadia shouted. "She's a hero!"
