When Nadia and Rilen returned to the castle, her father and mother were standing there, disapproving looks on their face. Nadia's mother's hands were on her hips and her father's arms were crossed as they approached. Nadia looked at Rilen nervously and he smiled at her. "I'm guessing they found out what we were doing."
Nadia looked back at her parents nervously. "Just wait until they found out what we really fought...They're never gonna let me near the knights grounds again..."
"Oh please, they'll be proud, not angry." He said. "You protected Hyrule!" They made it to their parents and he smiled broadly. "Good afternoon, Orin."
"Good afternoon." He said flatly, a large frown on his face. "I heard that you took our daughter for a 'ride to the cliffs'." He frowned more. "We have told the knights, including you, several times that we don't want her near the bokoblins."
"We didn't hunt bokoblins." He said confidently. He threw the Hinox's souvenir onto the ground. "Your daughter saved me and killed a black hinox."
Her mother stared at the toenail in shock. "You brought our daughter to a hinox?" She cried. "That could have killed her!"
Rile frowned. "Why are you angry? You should be proud! And I didn't bring her to the danger on purpose! We came across it on our stroll and she refused to leave because she wanted to protect me. That's more brave than half my soldiers!"
Orin frowned more. "Rilen, you went against our wishes deliberately and put our daughter in danger! I don't want her around the knight's grounds anymore."
Nadia let out a cry. "Dad, you can't be serious! We didn't plan on this happening, but I was able to save Rilen!"
"That's enough." He said sternly.
"But dad!"
"Enough!" He shouted.
Nadia looked away and tears welled up in her eyes and Rilen put a hand on her shoulder. "It's okay Nadia...I'm proud of you." He jumped off his horse. "You may not be able to train at the grounds but if you ever need anything, you know where to find me." He gave a sour look at her parents and led his horse to the stables.
Her father gave a disgruntled sigh. "I ask you to go hunt rabbits for the event tomorrow and this is what happens!"
"I killed a stag." She said flatly, turning around her horse. "At least Rilen got to see my first deer." She then charged off, her reins tightly in her hands. She ran off over the fields and sniffled. The knights have become her friends, not just trainers to her, and now her parents are taking them away from her. "They always do this..." She jumped off her horse and sat in the grass, her bangs blowing in the wind. "Why do they shelter me so much? I know I can do it!"
"Maybe because they know you're too special to allow you to run off and start trouble." A familiar voice rang over the hill. She jumped and turned around. On top of a large black horse sat a familiar young man with long bright red hair and gold armor. "Hey."
She got up excitedly and ran full speed at him when he jumped off his horse and hugged him tight. "Ganondorf!"
He hugged her back. "I missed you."
"You did?" She looked up at him. "Didn't think you would, I got you in a lot of trouble."
He laughed a little. "Oh please, I've been in much worse trouble."
"What are you doing here?" She looked around. "No one else is around."
"They're heading out soon, but I asked for a head start to see you and ask if you were going to be at the event tomorrow." He smiled. "I wanted to see if you and I could cause trouble again."
