Shoot! Chris was standing on the station right at the limit of where you were allowed to stand, but he was a couple of doors ahead. What was he doing here? And how did he know where to find me?!

There was a crowd of impatient business men behind me and I turned to them.

"You go on ahead." I said nervously and they barged past me. I looked back at Chris and saw him trying to look through the heavy crowd. I wasn't going to take my chances on my swollen ankle to run through the crowd and out the door so I ducked back inside the carriage and sat back on a empty seat.

I sat down heavily and sighed to myself.

"That boy never gives up does he?" I whispered to myself then noticed a man looking at me like I was a mental case. I stared back at him with the same expression.

"What are you looking at?" He asked me. He had dark brown with grey streaks and sharp light blue eyes. His voice sounded like one of those arrogant people who think that they are too good to associate with everyone and everything and constantly looks down their noses at people.

"You." I said simply.

"Why?" He said back.

"I don't know. You were staring so I decided to join in."

He huffed out and stared out the window whilst muttering about the youth of today. Honestly the old people of today.

I put my foot back up on the seat next to me like I had previously done and waited for the train to start back up.

The doors slammed shut in quick succession and I felt happy at escaping from Chris. Thinking of Chris I wondered why he wasn't in school and how he knew I wasn't with his mum any more. For all he could have known I could have been kidnapped and taken to Kazakhstan, but I guess his mum had found the letter and told him.

My thought drifted off to Chris and how he was so handsome it was illegal. OK, I'm not going to be like those girls who say they hate the guy and it's so obvious they like him but don't admit it. So I admit it.

I like him. A bit. I tiny, tiny so small you can't even see it bit. I admitted it. But I'm not going to act on it if I can help it. Don't go near him, don't talk to him and don't think about him and you will forget all about him, I said to myself and nodded.

Looking around the room and glaring one more last time at the man on the other side of the path, I noticed a magazine next to me and I picked it up deciding that it would help put my mind off Chris.

Reading about Lily Allen and her baby, and being disgusted at how old the magazine was my mind started to wander off on the subject about Chris and I was glad.

The door leading toward the other carriages whooshed open and I looked up quickly and noticed a flash of black hair and blue eyes.

My eyes widened and I put my magazine up so that he couldn't see my face and breathed in and out heavily. I didn't think he would actually get on the train!

I cursed to myself and silently prayed he would walk past me when I heard his heavy footsteps coming towards me....one by one.

They stopped. A second later my foot bounced up from the sudden weight of a person sitting in the next seat.

Keeping the magazine covering my face, I looked in the mirror and saw the reflection of a man looking straight at me.

The man I really didn't want to see right now.

"Have you seen a girl with long black hair and brown eyes." A husk voice said behind the pathetic paper.

I cleared my throat silently and put on a high voice. I probably shouldn't have even answered but I could have led him further away from me if I told him a false spot and ran out as soon as we stopped at the next station.

"There are a lot of girls with black hair and brown eyes." I said in my false high voice and I saw Mr.Arrogant glance at me with a confused face.

"Yeah, but she is special." The husky voice said back.

"Uh huh, maybe if you were more specific I might know." I replied.

"She is wearing gold flat sandals and a dress. Kind of like the one you have got on now."

"Really?! Well, I did see a girl fitting that description. She went into that next carriage over there," I said pointing to the opposite door from the one he had entered from whilst managing to keep the magazine up. "And tell her she has got awesome dress sense if she has this dress.......Well....Bye." I said and waited for him to get up. I saw Mr.Arrogant open his mouth but I quickly shook my head at him and he closed it and looked back out the window.

After a few minutes I felt the man get up and I waited for him to leave, but then a hand appeared over the magazine, grabbing it and tearing it away from my grip.

I put my hands down and lowered my face but Chris just grabbed my chin and forced me to look up at him.

"Chris! Hey! What are you doing here?!" I said faking surprise and still with my false voice so I quickly cleared my throat. "Shouldn't you be in school?"

He glared down at me and I noticed the stress lines across his forehead. I felt like running my fingers across them to ease them out so he looked like his carefree self again.

"Shouldn't you be with my mother?" he hissed down at me. I felt bad already about leaving her in town, he didn't have to make me feel worse.

I grabbed his hand and pushed it away from my face to turn to the window. I heard him sigh then sat down heavily next to me.

"Why did you run away?" He asked and I heard the pain etched in his voice. Now I felt really bad!

"I wanted to go home. It's not like I chose to be kidnapped to a house in the middle of nowhere. Ans I still need to go to school thank you very much" I whispered back.

"You could have just told me."

"I did and you bit me!" I said and turned to him.

"OK, good point. But couldn't you have stayed just for that week?" he said softly and edged towards me.

"I need to see my mum...and Mary....and go to school."

"Just one week." he said ignoring me.

I sighed and thought, what the heck. One week then I wouldn't have to see him ever again. I could do that.

"Fine. One week," I said reluctantly. "But I still go to school. And I need to talk to my mum before we go." I said hurriedly.

He nodded quickly and his eyes filled with happiness. Jeez, you would think I gave him the world.

Chris grabbed my face gently with his big hands and pulled my face towards his, then crashed his lips onto mine.

I had just started to kiss him back just as desperately when I heard someone clear their throat loudly and I pulled back to see Mr.Arrogant glaring at us with amusement in his eyes.

I looked down and moved farther away from Chris. I looked out the window and stared at the passing blurs outside the window.

Chris grabbed my hand and held it tightly. I held on tight but not as tight as his hold and smiled lightly to myself.

And I saw Chris grinning happily to himself from the reflection on the window.
