I was so...ugh. This is why you shouldn't fraternise with were's. They make your life harder than it should be and too hard to handle.
'You're my mate' Whatever! I didn't ask for that. I was happy to go on in life without having to get too close to any of them.
I limped back up the stairs and towards the room where I was before. Lucky for me, nobody had followed me and tried to persuade me to at least stay and listen to them. I walked in and slammed the door behind me. I would have also locked the door but unfortunately for me, there was no lock. Stupid werewolves probably never heard of privacy either.
I walked towards the bed and threw myself face down on it. I would cry but I'd rather not dehydrate myself letting loose the tears over them. But then my mum popped into my head and the tears let loose.
I tucked myself into a ball and cried my eyes out. I stayed put like that for over five minutes then said to myself: "You could stay here and cry yourself to sleep or get up and think of a better way out than last time."
That made me get up. I wiped the back of my hand across my eyes and got up. I looked around the room and noticed 3 different doors. One of them has got to be the bathroom.
"Eenie, meenie, minie, moe." I murmured pointed to a different door at every word and it landed on the door in the middle. I shrugged and walked towards it.
I put my hand on the handle and tried to budge it open. It didn't move. I tried it again but it still wouldn't move, then I just threw my whole weight on the door and pushed with all my might. It finally opened and I looked around the room. Ew, even my closet isn't this messy, I looked around and saw clothes scattered everywhere and plates of food and many unidentified objects everywhere in the room.
You couldn't even see the floor. I shuddered and was about to step out when I felt something move against my leg. I shrieked then I froze and looked down slowly. looked down and saw a bundled little ball of white, quivering fur. I bent down and picked it up.
The little bundle unravelled and looked at me with big doe brown eyes. Aww, it's a little puppy.
Wait a minute. What was it doing in here? How long has it been here? And how did it get in here?
I shrugged and promised myself to ask about it. I walked out and plonked it on the bed and it looked back at me curiously.
"Ok., stay here and I shall come back. First I need to find out where the toilet is. Who knows. I might find a elephant in here too..." I said and walked over to the door that was on the far left of the room.
This time I got lucky and actually found the bathroom. It was a big opposite from the room. Instead of being all dark it was light and airy with light blue and white tiles around the room. It was practically gleaming. A big difference from the 'closet' as it was actually clean.
I walked towards the big mirrors behind the sink and looked at my reflection.
I had a few cuts on my cheeks, I guess from when I tripped and fell I think, and my eyes where all red and bloodshot. Nice.
I opened the tap for cold water and splashed my face with it. Jeez! That was cold.
I ran up hands across my face to take off the water turned around to walk out the room when I almost tripped over something.
"You again!" I said as the little puppy just looked up at me. I picked it up and held it against my chest and stroked it whilst walking back into the room.
I had just sat down on my bed when someone knocked on the door.
"Who is it?" I called out.
"Chris."
"What do you want Chris."
"I just want to talk. Plus that is my room too."
I put the dog down and stomped towards the door and pulled it open. He didn't look so good. His eyes were red and bloodshot like mine and his eyelashes were wet and stuck together.
"What do you mean your room too?" I said.
"This is my room. And since you're my mate, it's yours too."
"Again with the mate thing." I said as I walked away and into the room. He followed me in and when he saw what was on the bed he looked happier.
"Fluffs! We've been looking everywhere for you boy!" He said as he picked it up. Well that explained the mystery of whose dog it was. 'Fluffs' wriggled in his grip and whined until he set him back down on the floor. As soon as his little feet touched the ground he raced towards me and hid behind my legs. Chris' expression was heartbroken and he looked like a broken man. Even I felt a little bit of sympathy for him.
He sat down on the bed and hid his face between both of his hands. I picked up Fluffs and walked towards him.
"Umm. There, there." I said awkwardly and stroked his back with one of my hands and Fluffs walked into his lap and licked his chin. I could feel and see his body shaking, Chris then jerked up and wrapped his hands around my waist and pulled me in for a hug.
I froze for a second but then relaxed into the hug.
Everyone needs a bit of comforting every now and then. I guess even werewolves.
