*DANS POV*
phil turn around and caught me completely zoned out with my head tilted.
"you okay Dan?" he asked confused.
"hm? oh yeah I'm great actually... thank you so much..." i felt like all my troubles had gone away and i was able to speak properly now.
"not a problem, I've enjoyed this short time of spending time with you. do you want to watch something on the tele?"
phil had a strong British accent.
"what would we watch?" i asked.
"how about this new series i bought? american... horror story?"
I nodded and followed him to his couch in front of the tele. i noticed in the corner of his living room was an undecorated christmas tree next to a box which seemed to be full of decorations.
"you haven't decorated your tree yet?" i pointed out. Phil looked at the tree with a strange look on his face.
"um yeah i don't know its kind of boring decorating it on my own," he looked at me suggestively.
i sat silent for a minute, i did not want to intrude but, "i can help?"
Phil's face instantly shot up with excitement, "that would be grand! we can do that after we watch an episode of american horror story!"
as we were half way through the first episode of american horror story murder house, it started to get pretty creepy. phil was sitting a foot away from me... i was scared... i hated paranormal things. they always scare me shitless, i didn't know what was coming next and i think Phil read my mind.
he reached his arm out and around me, i flinched a little but i was fine after that and he moved closer cuddling up to me. I've never been this close to someone before to be honest.. ive never been close to anyone. we sat the rest of the episode like this cuddled up. i buried my head into his chest whenever a scary part came up, at one point i looked up at Phil, he wasn't scared at all. in fact phil looked so interested in it, i could see his eyes burying deep into the screen... his beautiful blue eyes sparkling and i could see the reflection of the tele in them. i barely even payed attention to the show for the rest of it.. i just looked into his eyes and he was so interested in this show he didn't notice. for the first time in a long time. i was comfortable.. relaxed and... i felt at home.
