*DAN'S POV*
I watched the sun go down behind the tall buildings of London. The crowd of Christmas shoppers were decreasing. The breeze got colder as I felt it blow in the few tears in my leather jacket.
I just sat silently and still on the park bench next to the closest street light. I stared blankly towards the orange and purple sky slowly going darker and darker, motionless, like I had been for the entire day. Like I had been the day before that... And the day before that... And the day before that.
Yeah, this was how I spend my days, sitting at this exact park bench waiting for the days to go by slower each day, counting down the days untill I die.
I didn't like this. I didn't like being homeless although I suppose I brought this on myself, I was the little shit to my dad, I was the one who pushed my mum over the edge and now I've been kicked out and have been for the past two years.
For the first one and a half I atleast tried to make money or find somewhere to live, or atleast tried to fit in with society but nothing worked and eventually I gave up. So here I am. Waiting for my death.
Soon enough the sky was dark, you could see few stars due to the many street lights.Judging by the decorations beginning to appear around town, I can assume it's nearly christmas. Oh great.
Most people look forward to christmas, for me the day is just like every other. The only difference is that I get to see the huge smiles on every single other persons face.. I guess that's something.
So why should I look forward to this? I'm just going to try and rest through yet another sleepless night.-
*PHIL'S POV*
"SAAAAAAAAAAAAANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO DOWN!"
"I SAID SAAAAAAAAAAAAANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO DOWN!" My tone deaf voice echoed throughout the lonely apartment,
"SANTA CLAUS IS COMINNNNN' TO TOWNNNNN" I screamed at the top of my lungs skidding across the floor on my knees for a big finaly, the apartment went silent for a second before five loud bangs tourmented the walls.
"OI WILL YOU SHUT YOUR MOUTH!" An old man grouched at me.
A guilt look filled my face as I said "sorry sir... Just feeling freaking festive!"
No response came.
I stood up sighing at the silence of the house. I stared at the small christmas tree next to the unopened decoration box.
I love christmas don't get me wrong.. It's just the same every year. I buy a shit load of gifts for friends and family, get some gifts mailed to me and spend my chistmas day alone in my apartment.. It gets lonely. SHIT THAT REMINDS ME, 5 more days untill christmas oh dear god I still have some christmas shopping to do I got to run up to town quickly!!
