Chapter 17

Isabel's pov
The next morning I woke up and Cam was right in my face. "Finally! You're up!" He said. I smiled and stood up to eat breakfast. When I sat at the table someone handed me a bowl of cereal, but I didn't know who it was. I looked up and it was... Shawn. "Cam? Where's Mahogany?" I asked. "She's in the other room, with the guys . why?" He said. I got up, took my bowl of cereal with me and went to the other room.

Shawn's pov
"Cam? Where's Mahogany?" Isabel asked. "She's in the other room, with the guys . why?" Cam replied. She said nothing. Then she got up, took her bowl of cereal and went to the other room. "Did I do something wrong?" I asked. "Well, you cheated on her. But she just needs to cool off." Cam said. "How much longer?!" I started to yell. Then Nash walked in. "What's with all the yelling?" He asked. "Nash," I said running up to him, "can you get Isabel to talk to me?" "Maybe. But , dude, I'm warning you. If you ever hurt her again, I'll hurt you." He said. "Okay, I won't. I promise." I said. "Shawn. Nash is right. If you and Is get back together, you're going to have to be careful. Shawn. She's fragile." Cam said. I nodded my head and kept eating. "So, what's the plan?" I asked. "Plan?" Nash asked, Cameron laughed. "I'm just gonna talk to her." Nash said. "But I don't think it'll work. I mean, she doesn't even wanna see me, she hates me." I said. "Relax , Nash and I will talk to her. And if that doesn't work, then we'll set up an 'I'm sorry will you forgive me' proposal or thingie or whatever at the beach later , before dinner." Cam said. "Okay. Thanks guys. You're the best." I said. Then I finished eating my breakfast and went to the bathroom to change.

Isabel's pov
When I got in the room, the only people who were there was Mahogany, Jacob, Carter, Matt, and Taylor. "Hey. Where are the rest of the guys?" I asked. "Well, Nash just went back to your room and the rest are downstairs." Matt said. I sat down next to Mahogany and started eating my cereal. "We need to talk." I whispered to her. "Oooo. What are y'all gonna talk about? Matt? Me? Shawn?" Taylor said/asked. "I dropped my spoon into my bowl and ran out crying. "Is! Wait! I'm sorry , I was just joking!" Taylor yelled running after me. I ran down to the lobby and outside. I kept running and running until I got to a tree. I stopped there and sat down, sobbing into my hand. As I cried I thought about all the things that's happened in the past few days, then I slowly fell asleep. *a few hours later* I woke up in a bed staring at the ceiling. I lifted my head up, and all the boys were looking at me. "What happened?" I asked. "Isabel. We were worried sick!" Cam said. "Yeah, we looked everywhere; Starbucks, Pizza Hut, Chipotle, the mall. and then we searched closer to the hotel and I found you asleep , leaning against a tree." Nash said. "Oh. So you took me back here?" I said/asked. "Yeah." He replied. "Hey, Isabel. Listen, we need to talk, alone." Cam said. Oh god, not the full name. {Although, I kinda like being called by my full name now.} Everyone left and soon it was just me, Cam, and Nash. "What about?" I asked. "It's about Shawn." Nash said. I got up and started to walk away, but Cam pulled my arm back and I sat down on the bed again. "Okay. What about him?" I said/asked. "Look, Is. He's really sorry. He never meant to hurt you. And he said that if he could take that day back and start over, he would." Nash said. I got up and walked to the counter and grabbed my phone and checked my feeds. "Forget it." I said. "What? What do you mean forget it?" Cam said/asked. "I mean, if he wants to talk to me, then tell him to. Don't do it for him. I can't believe you, Cam. I thought you were on my side." I said walking out of the room , tears in my eyes. I wen to the other room and all the guys and Mahogany were there. "Umm, Mahogany, can we talk.?" I said/asked. "Yeah, sure." She said getting up. And we walked to the bathroom. I closed the door and locked it. "What's up?" She asked. "Well, Cam and Nash just talked to me about Shawn and how he's really sorry, but I told them to tell him to talk to me himself, and that I didn't care because he was kissing another girl." I said. "Well, he really is sorry." Mahogany said. "Then why won't he just tell me.?" I said asked. "Isabel. He didn't eat for four days." She said. That actually broke my heart, I couldn't imagine him not eating for four days. And at the same time I didn't care. "What am I going to do, he probably won't talk to me now that I've blown him off so many times." I said. "Don't worry, he'll talk to you." She said, then she left the bathroom and I went back to my room. "Hey. Where were you?" A familiar voice asked, but I didn't know who it was. I looked up and saw Shawn. "Leave me alone." I said walking past him. "But I really need to talk to you. Isabel please." He said. "No. Now leave me alone, I have to get ready for Magcon." I said grabbing my clothes and walking into the bathroom. "Hey Shawn! Tell the boys to come over here!" Nash yelled. "Alright!" Shawn yelled back. I brushed my hair and pinned it into a headband braid. Then I put a white-ish pink-ish eyeshadow on and wing my eyeliner. Then I put on a teal bikini, {just incase we go to the boardwalk or beach again} dark wash jean shorts, a blue crop top {that has pinapples, melons, bananas, and strawberries on them}, and my light blue/teal-ish vans. When I got out of the bathroom, all the boys looked up at me. I walked over to Cam's bed and laid down and went on my phone. Then a few minutes later Shawn came in with a girl that had long, wavy/straight, dark brown hair {not as dark as mine} and wore a peachy/pink crop top, light rose/pink vans, and light wash Jean shorts. "Guys meet my new girlfriend, Madison Beer." He said. I froze right there and then trying to hold back a river of tears. And then Maddie looked at me. "Hey Is! Long time no see!" She said coming over to give me a hug. Shawn looked shocked, "You guys know each other?!" He asked. "A... Yeah. We used to go to school together." I said. "Well, we defiantly have a lot to catch up on. Wanna hang after Magcon?" She asked. "Sorry, I can't. Mahogany and I are going out after Magcon." I said. "Oh, okay. Maybe tomorrow then." She said. Then she walked back over to Shawn and kissed him right in front of me. Now I really wanted to cry. What does Shawn see in her anyway. I mean sure she's pretty but she's a real slut. Back at West Oak High, where Cam and I went to school before we left for tour, she dated every single guy in the school. And one of the teachers was actually really close to our age , and I heard that they had sex and then he cheated on him with someone else. Typical Maddie, or Madison Beer aka Slut. It just breaks my heart to think that Shawn is dating a slut. I got up and walked to the other room. A few minutes later Cam and Nash came in. "Is, are you okay?" Cam asked. "No Cam! Can't you see that Shawn's dating Madison, as in Madison Beer, the slut of West Oak High?!" I practically yelled. "Is. It's gonna be okay, he'll come back to you, I know it." Nash said. "How?! How do you know?!" I said shaking my head. Then I laid face flat on the bed and started to break down. Cam held me and Nash stroked my hair. "Com'on, we gotta leave. Magcon starts soon." Cam said. "Okay." Nash and I replied. Then we got up, walked back next door and left for Magcon. When we were walking to the limo I noticed that Maddie didn't walk towards us. Then I heard her say, "Later Shawn. I gotta go somewhere." Yeah , right. Like she has somewhere to go. When we were in the limo Shawn sat next to me. "Hey, can we talk?" He asked. "No. You're dating Madison. Go away." I said. "Isabel look, I'm only dating Madison because she asked me out and threatened you, and us. I couldn't let her." He said. "What about the kiss?" I asked. "Look , that's what I want to talk to you about. She was the one who started to kiss me a few days ago, she's the one who blacked mailed me, and she's the one who threatened you and all of us if I didn't date her." He said. I couldn't believe it, but at the same time I wasn't surprised because she and her friends used to bully me back at West Oak. "Shawn. I'm so sorry I didn't know." I said, facing him this time. "So, does that mean we're good?" He asked opening his arms for a hug. I put them down and said, "Look, I'm sorry that she forced you to date her, but it's gonna take a lot more than explain for me to forgive you." I said turning back around again. "Oh, okay." He said. The rest of the ride there was quiet. *after Magcon* After Magcon, Cam and Nash insisted we go to the boardwalk again. "All set." I said pointing to my bikini. "Okay! Let's go!" Taylor said. So we drove off and practically spent the rest of the day there. I laid my beach towel down next to Cam's and then I noticed Shawn laid his towel next to mine and sat down. "So, where's Madison?" I asked. "Oh, umm, she couldn't come." He said. "Right, 'she couldn't come'" I said quoting him. "Okay okay. I caught her kissing someone else and we broke up, well , she thinks we're still together." He whispered to me. "You broke up with her?." I asked/said surprised. "Yeah, why." He replied looking at me. I looked down and started fiddling with the fringes on my bikini. Then, with his finger, he lifted my chin up so that I was looking into his eyes. I looked away and checked my phone. 1 message, from... Michael? Michael was one of my four to five friends back at West Oak. He was like , like , another brother. I texted him back:

Michael😂❤️: hey Is
Me: hey Michael
Micheal😂❤️: guess what?!
Me: WHAT?!
Michael😂❤️: IM COMING TO VISIT YOU! TOMORROW!!!
Me: OMG! Michael! I can't wait to see you!
Michael😂❤️: me either, I miss you so much!
Me: me too! I gtg , sorry, I'm at the beach with the boys. I'll text you later.
Michael😂❤️: ok, bye

*end of conversation*

"Who were you texting?" Shawn asked trying to look at the conversation. "No one, just a friend back home." I said. "Oh, okay." He mumbled. "Guys! It's time to go back to the hotel!" Nash screamed. I got up , put on my crop top, shorts and vans and grabbed my towel , put it in my bag, and headed back to the limo. In the limo I sat next to Cam and Nash, Shawn sat across from us. "Cam! Guess what?!" I asked/said. "What?" He asked. "Michael texted me and said that he's gonna visit tomorrow!" I practically yelled. "YASSS! I miss Michael!" Can yelled. "Yeah, me too." Nash and Hayes said. Our of the corner of my eye, Shawn was looking at me with a hurt face. I tried not to pay attention. When we got back to the hotel , I went on my Surface Pro2 and skyped Michael. It rang a few times , but he finally picked up. "Hey! Michael , I miss you!" I said. "Hey Isabel. I miss you more!" He said. "HEY MIKEY!" Cam, Nash, and Hayes yelled, jumping into the camera, behind me. "Hey guys! What's up! I haven't see y'all in forever!" Michael said. I looked up from my laptop and all the boys were staring at us. "Hey, Michael , I gotta go! See you tomorrow!" I said. "Okay. See ya guy!" He said, the I hung up.

Shawn's pov
"Hey! Michael , I miss you!" Isabel said to her laptop. I heard rustling and then, "Hey Isabel! I miss you more!" Michael said. Are they together? Oh no. Please no. Wait, he's coming to visit tomorrow?! No no no! Isabel can't date him! I have to stop this. Ugh, but Cam, Nash, and Hayes probably won't let me. Oh well, we'll see what happens tomorrow...
