Chapter 28

Isabel's pov
When we got to the hotel, we unpacked our things and stayed in our rooms for a few hours before going out. To be honest, I felt really bad for Shawn. Him and I used to be inseparable. He would always come over after he ate breakfast or something like that. And to be honest I miss those days. And I miss when we were still really really close. And I miss his hugs, his big brown eyes staring into mine, his soft lips, but most of all...us. I've been freaking out for the past hour and a half , now , deciding if I should break up with Hayes or not. And even if I did, would I be ready for another relationship...with Shawn? I thought to myself long and hard, then someone came in and distracted me from my thoughts....Shawn.
"Hey, Bella. Can we talk?" He says coming over to me. "Sure." I reply, gesturing my hand to a spot on the bed. He sits down and turns to face me. I look down , wanting to avoid his eyes , and listen. "Isabel. I still like you. And I don't think that's ever gonna change. And I don't care. But I want you to know that, I miss when it was just you and me. And when we were really close. We'd hand out every single day and we'd always have sleepovers and I miss that. I miss you, I miss us..." He said. I could feel my cheeks burning up. I guess now is as good as ever to tell him that I might still like him. "Isabel. Please forgive me. Can we please be friends again?" He said/asked. I nodded my head 'yes' and he smiled and hugged me. I pulled away after a few seconds. "What's wrong?" He asked. "I'm......gonna.breakup.with.Hayes." I finally say. He looks up at me in surprise. "But why?" He asks. "Well...I might like someone else." I say looking away. Then someone comes in.. It's Cam. Thank god it wasn't Hayes. "Shawn. Can I talk to you later?" I say/ask. "Yeah. Sure. See ya later Bella." He says waving me off before closing the door. "So.... you like Shawn?" Cam asks. "I...might." I say slowly. "Cam. Please don't tell anyone." I beg. "Don't worry. I won't." He replies. "So then. you're.gonna.breakup.with.Hayes?" He asks. "I guess...I mean if I like someone else." I say. Then three other people come in... Mahogany, Nash, & (to my luck😒) Hayes. Cam whispers something in my ear before going to the bathroom. "Well, then. I guess now is as good a time as ever." Then, disappears into the bathroom before I could catch him. "Hey. Ahhh. Hayes. Can I talk to you? Alone?" I asked looking at the three of them. "We'll go next door, for now." Mahogany says. Then she gets up and pulls Nash with her. "Sooo...what do you wanna talk about?" He asks. "Well.", I said, "Hayes. I'm really really sorry, but I'm breaking up with you. And I still love you, but just as a friend. And I hope that this doesn't ruin our friendship/brother-sister relationship." I say looking down. "Isabel." Hayes says lifting my chin up with his finger, so that I'd have to look at him. "Nothing will ever ruin what we have. What we have is special and no one take take it away from us. It's like,like. me you and Mikey , but way back when." He said laughing a little. To be honest, I was really happy. Hayes didn't take it the wrong way and it didn't ruin our relationship. "Thanks Hayes. I love you." I say throwing my as around him. "Anything for my little sister." He says, wrapping his arms around me. I pull away. "Hey!" I say, "we're the same age." "Yeah. But don't forget. I'm two weeks older than you." He says. "Shut up." I say jokingly, making a face. "Oh, and Shawn's four days older than you." He mumbles under his breath. "I heard that!" I say. "Can I come out now?" Cam whispers from the bathroom. "Yeah." I whisper, thinking that just me and him heard it(😒). "And. I heard that." Hayes says from across the room. "Damnit." I say under my breath. Cam get out of the bathroom and I go in. I curl my hair and brush it out to give it a more natural look. I put on some eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, and a little blush. I put on a real crop top and light wash high waisted shorts. I get out of the bathroom, grab my socks and slip my blue Vans on. "Hey Bella." Someone says. I look up, and from across the room I see Shawn(Nash next to him, Mahogany, and Hayes). "Ohh. Hey Shawn." I say looking down again. I had butterflies in my stomach and I felt like my cheeks were on fire. Mahogany came over and sat next to me. "Hey. You like Shawn now?" she whispered in my ear. "Yeah. Hayes told you?" I said/asked. She nodded her head. "Yanno. Shawn likes you too." She whispered.
