Chapter 16

Isabel's pov
After Shawn went to bed I tried to clear my thoughts by hanging out with the guys and Mahogany, watching tv, and going on my phone. But nothing seemed to work. Mahogany, Shawn, and Hayes were already asleep. Cam, Carter, Jake, Taylor, Matt and I were the only ones up, but they were in their room next door. I turned on my phone to check the time. 11:00. I locked it and tried to focus on the tv, but I couldn't. The one name that kept pounding into my head, was, Shawn. I looked up at Cam and he looked at me, worried. He hugged me and I broke down again. I hugged him tight and he stroked my hair. Then, another tall figure sat next to me and started to run my back. I turned from Cam's chest and looked at him. Nash. "Hey." I whispered. "Couldn't sleep." He said. "Yeah, me either." Cam and I said at the same time. "Well we should get some rest, we have Magcon tomorrow." Cam said. We nodded and got up to go to bed. I froze in my tracks and turned around to face Cam. "Cam..." I said. "Here, you can sleep with me." He said. I ran over to him and hugged him tight. Then I got in bed, and fell asleep in Cam's embrace.
*the next morning*
I woke up and Cam wasn't there. I got up and went to the bathroom to change and do my hair and makeup. When I got out Mahogany, Nash, Cam and Hayes brought breakfast. "Shawn's in the other room." Hayes said. I looked down and felt like breaking down again. "Dude. Shut up." Nash said punching Hayes. "Oww." Hayes said rubbing his arm. "It's okay Nash, Hayes. I'm fine." I said. Cam and Mahogany got up and walked out. I don't know where they went though. Maybe downstairs , or next door? Oh yeah, did I mention that we're in New Jersey?. Ohh, well, we are. Anyways, Hayes and Nash kept eating. I got up and went to the bathroom. I took out my razor and slid it through my wrist, two times on each one. Then there was a knock on the door. "Is, open up. It's Hayes. He said. "One minute!" I yelled. I heard the lock being picked with something and in a few seconds, Hayes was standing there crying silently as he saw me wipe and bandage my cuts. I pulled him in and locked the door. "Why Isabel?! Why?!" He said. "I'm so sorry." I whispered breaking down on the bathroom floor. Hayes knelt down next to me and held me in his arms. "Shhh, it's gonna be okay, Is." He whispered. "Promise me, you won't tell anyone." I said. He nodded and held up a pinkie. I held mine up and we interlocked our pinkies. We got up and I finished cleaning up my cuts. "Ohh, Hayes. if they ask, then tell them you had to grab...this." I said tossing him Nash's deodorant. "Okay, thanks Isabel." He said, then walked out. I put a bandage on my wrists and headed out. "Isabel Rose." Cam said. Oh no, he never says my middle name unless I'm in trouble or something's up, and it's serious. "Am I in trouble?" I asked. "Yeah. Yeah. WHAT WERE YOU AND HAYES DOING IN THE BATHROOM?!" He yelled. "Cameron! Calm down! He had to get something!" I snapped. "That's not what I heard." Nash said. "Shut it Grier." I said pointing a finger at him. He held his hands up in the air as if a cop were telling him to 'watch it'. I laughed and turned around to talk to Cam again. "Cam, I would never , yanno, 'do it', he just had to get something. plus I don't think I'd date someone that's a year younger than me, I think." I said. "Okay. Sorry for jumping on ya Is." He said. "No hard feelings." I replied smiling at him. Then Shawn came in and it got really quiet, really fast. He came up to me and tried to talk to me, but I blew him off. "Look Shawn. Don't talk to me. Because I saw what I saw. And what I saw was you liking another girl. So don't talk to me." I said. Then I turned around and flung my long dark brownish/blackish hair in his face. "So what we doing today?" Mahogany asked. "I dunno." I mumbled. "How about we go to the boardwalk.?" Hayes said/asked as he walked over and put his arm around me. "Watch it Grier." Cam said , giving him a look. I laughed and Hayes blushed and took his arm off of me. I looked at him, "No. keep it there." I said putting his arm back around me. Shawn looked at us and gave Hayes a look. "I'm gonna go change." I said slipping out of Hayes's arm. I hugged him and kissed him on the cheek, then I headed for the bathroom. As I was walking past, Shawn grabbed my arm. "Don't." I said pulling away. I didn't cut again, only because it hurt so much. When I got out of the bathroom I walked over to Hayes and hugged him. "Hey Beautiful." He said kissing my cheek. I blushed and kissed him back, on his cheek. He wrapped his arm around my waist and I blushed. "Woah. Are you guys together?" Carter asked as he walked in. We pulled away and both blushed again. "No." I said. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Shawn with a hurt look on his face. I started to feel guilty , but I mean, why should I? He's the one who hurt me. Then he got up, walked out of the room, and slammed the door. "So, where are we going?" Matt asked. I slipped out of Hayes's grip and ran down the hall. I didn't know where I was going, but I just wanted to get far away from here. I decided to go in a closet in the hall though. I had my phone in my pocket but kept it on vibrate. I cried for what seemed liked hours until I fell asleep. *two hours later*
I woke up in the closet and pulled out my phone. 167 messages and calls from all the boys. I got up and walked out of the closet and back to my room. When I opened it all the guys, even Shawn surprisingly, was there. Cam, Nash, and Hayes ran over to me. "Isabel, we were so worried something happened to you!" Cam said. "Yeah, where were you?!" Nash asked. "I was just down the hall in the closet. I sat there crying for about an hour, but I fell asleep." I said quietly, but loud enough that Cam, Nash, Shawn, and Hayes could hear me. Hayes came up to me and hugged me. "Next time, please tell us. You nearly scared us to death, especially me." He said. I hugged him back, tight and said, "Okay. but..." I trailed off. "But what.?" He said/asked. "Nothing." I whispered shaking my head. "What should we do?" Tay asked. "Well, I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to sleep." I said. "Me too." Cam said. I walked to Cam's bed and climbed in. A few minutes later Cam went to bed and hugged me as we fell asleep. "I love you, baby sis." He said. "I love you big bro." I replied. Then I drifted off to sleep.

*the next morning*

I woke up and Cam was still sleeping next to me. I grabbed my phone and checked the time. Shit! It's almost 10:00. Then Hayes walked out of the bathroom shitless. And Nash came back with some food. "Eww, Hayes, put on a shirt." I said teasingly. "Yanno ya love it." He said smirking. "Yeah, right." I said rolling my eyes. "Cam! Cam! Wake up!" I yelled. He moved but didn't get up yet. "CAMERON ALEXANDER DALLAS! GET YO LAZY FUCKING ASS UP!" I yelled. "Woah! Language!" Nash yelled. Hayes and I laughed and Cam still wasn't up. "Uhg , Cameron! Get up!" I said smacking him with a pillow. He sat up and looked at me. "I've been awake the whole time, lil sis." He said. "Yanno, sometimes, I really hate you." I said glaring at him. He chuckled. "Love ya too sis." He said. I rolled my eyes and hopped out of bed. I walked over to the kitchen and sat at the counter to eat breakfast. "Where we going today?" Hayes asked. "Let's go to the beach!" Nash yelled. "Umm, don't we have Magcon today?" I asked. "Yeah, but it ends at 3:00, so we'll go to the beach after." Cam laughed. "Just bring a bag with your beach stuff." Tay said walking in. I hopped off my seat and ran up to Tay. I jumped into his arms and hugged him. He lifted me up and twirled me around{just like what Shawn used to do with me😔}. "Tay!" I yelled. He put me down and we hugged. "Hey baby girl! How's it going?" He said/asked. "Good, good. How 'bout ya?" I said/asked. "Just fine." He said. We walked over to the counter and continued eating. After we finished I went to the bathroom and got changed. I wore a tealish-baby blue bikini and a hot pink crop top with some light wash jean shorts on top and blue vans. I winged out my eyeliner a little and put on light pink eye shadow. I curled my hair and clipped my bangs {they're really really long} to the back of my hair in a braid and tied it all together with a bow. When I walked out all the boys were there sitting and watching tv. I turned to close the bathroom door and when I turned back around, they were all staring at me. "What?" I asked. "Nothing. It just, you're beautiful. No words can describe how you look." Hayes said. I blushed and then Matt said, "True that." "Awe, thanks guys." I said. Then we walked out of the hotel room and into the limo and went to Magcon.

After Magcon finished, we all drove to the beach. I took off my crop top and laid on my my beach towel. We spent about an hour at the beach, then we went back to the hotel. After we got there we went up to our rooms and I changed into my pjs. Then I fell asleep in Cam's bed while watching a movie on my Surface Pro2.
