Chapter 22

Isabel's pov
The next morning I woke up next to Cam. I take out my phone from under my pillow and check to see what time it is. It read 10:34. "Cam! Cam! Wake up! Don't we have Magcon today?! It's already 10:34!" I yell while nudging him. "What? I'm up! And yes, holy shit! We're going to be late!" Cam yells waking everyone else up. And soon, our room becomes one frantic mess with everyone running around and looking for stuff. On my way out of the bathroom, I run into Shawn. "Ohh. Sorry." I say getting up. "That's okay, here." He says holding out a hand. I take it and he lifts me back up. "Thanks." I says. "So what are you gonna sing for the last show?" I ask. "Well actually, I'm gonna give them a sneak peak of my new song." He replies. "Ohh, the one you were singing the other day? Cool. What's it called?" I say/ask. "It's called Life of the Party." He says. "That's cool. Well I'll see you there, I just need to get my stuff." I say. He nods and then we both run off in different directions, him carrying his guitar and a few song sheets and me carrying my purse, phone, and my light blue beats by dre. I rush over to my area of the room and check to see if I'm missing anything. Then Cam, Nash, Hayes, and I walk down to the limo together and head off to the hall where our last stop/show for the year is being held. The car ride there was pretty interesting. We were all screaming, singing, and going crazy except for one person, Hayes. I walked over to him and sat down. "Hey. What's wrong?" I say/ask. "No-nothing." He stutters. "Com'on , I know that's not true. What's wrong?" I reply. "Well. There's this girl that I've had a crush on for a long time. But...she's with someone else. And I feel like Shawn, heartbroken." He says looking down. "Awe Hayes. I'm so sorry. I'll talk to her, who is she?" I say. He shakes his head. "No you can't." He says, a tear slipping from his eyes. He looks up and our eyes meet. His crystal blue eyes stare into my hazel/brown eyes for a long time. Then he walks away. I look down, heartbroken over what I just saw. It killed me to see Hayes cry. Then Cam walks over to me. "Hey, what's wrong?" He asks. "Nothing. Cam. I just need some time to think." I say trying not to cry. "Okay." He says. Then I see a finger slowly move up to my face and his soft touch wipes my cheek. "Cam. I have no idea what to do." I finally sob. He hugs me tight and rubs my back. I pull away and try to calm down. Then I take out my phone and text Michael.

*conversation*

Me: hey, can we talk?
Michael😘: yeah sure. what about?
Me: this is honestly so hard, but I think we should break up. I'm so sorry. I just can't handle this long distance thing😭
Michael😘: bæ, what do you mean. we can still make this work. we can text, call, facetime. and you'll be home from your tour soon.
Me: yea, but I'll be super busy and Cam, Hayes, Nash, and I might go on DigiTour this year and that's in a few months and I have so many videos and projects to do. i wish it could work, i really do. I'm sorry😭😭i just hope we're still friends
Michael😘: always. and i guess we really are breaking up😔
Me: yeah😔but I'll see you really soon, i promise
Michael😘: ok. and don't forget that I'm always here for you when ever you need someone and I'll always love you princess❤️
Me: awe Michael, I'll always love you too❤️ well i gtg, we're almost there, I'll see you soon
Michael😘: ok. see you soon princess. i love you Isabel Rose Dallas, and i always will❤️😚
Me: me too Michael Peter Richards❤️😚bye

*end of conversation*

And with that I exited out of my messages and shut off my phone. When we got out of the limo, we all jumped, skipped, and ran to the hall. Before I could even race to catch up with Nash, Cam, and everyone else a pair of arms wrapped around my waist and lofted me up. I screamed for a few seconds before a voice immediately silenced me. "Shhh, it's just me." A familiar voice said. I turned my head and ,there again , I'm looking at Hayes' dangerous crystal blue eyes, which were kinda red from crying. "You okay now?" I asked after a few minutes. He nodded. "I'm fine Is." He whispered. "Com'on love birds!" We heard someone yell. I turn my head only to find Taylor, Matt, and Carter videoing us and yell for us to hurry up. Hayes puts me down and we start to walk towards the rest of them. Tay, Matt, and Carter turn back around and race each other to the hall. Ha. They're such babies. While still in the parking lot walking, Hayes' hand slips into mine and we interlock fingers. When we get to the hall, hand in hand, everyone looks at us and smirks. I blush and pull away and walk over to Cam. "Hey. How'd it go?" He says/asks. "Good, we're still friends, and I'm glad." I reply. "Okay guys lets go. We need to start setting up." Bart yells from behind, and leads us to the actual room where the last show/event is going to take place in about an hour. "Hey. What was Cam talking about back there?" Hayes came up to me and asked. "Oh, ahh, well. I broke up with Michael on the way here." I say. "Why?" He asks confused. "Well, I told him that the whole long distance thing isn't working out and that I have a lot of videos and projects to do and finish and that you, me, Nash, and Cam might go on DigiTour this year and it just won't work out, but I also like someone else." I say. "Oh." Hayes mumbles. "Hayes. Please don't tell him. Yes all that stuff I said about long distance is true, but there's also a part of me that, just, likes someone else." I beg. "Don't worry. I won't say anything." He replies. "Thanks Hayes. You're tha best." I say hugging him. "I know." He says and I roll my eyes. He holds on longer and tighter and I tighten my grip around him too. Then Jacob comes. "Hey guys. We need to get set up now." He says. "Okay." I say pulling away from Hayes. Hayes walks toward the hall and I wait until he leaves to start walking to the hall. "Soo. You and Hayes huhh." Jacob says nudging me while smirking. "Oh shut up." I say playfully punching him. "Sooo. You're gonna bring Mahogany up to the stage and ask her out, right?" I ask. "Yeah, I'm just really nervous." He says bitting his bottom lip. "Don't worry. You'll be fine, and I'm pretty sure she'll say yes." I say while patting his back. About an hour later, the room starts to get filled up and people start flooding in. After the boys do their thing and the Jacks sing they're songs, Shawn goes first and gives the audience a sneak peek at his song. "I love it when you just don't care. I love it when you dance like there's nobody there. So when it gets hard, don't be afraid, we don't care what them people say." He started singing. And after he finished the verse and sang the refrain everyone went wild and they all loved it. Then I was finally time for Jacob to ask Mahogany out. So, I walked away from Mahogany and the dj equipment and onto the stage. Matt handed his mic to me and I started to speak. "Thank you Matt. And now, everyone, we have one very special announcement. Jacob, here." I say handing him a mic. "Thank you Isabel. So today, I finally decided to ask the girl of my dreams out. And I can't tell you guys how much I've rehearsed this in my head and how much I've practiced and how thankful I am for Isabel, Cam, Hayes, Nash, Shawn, and everyone that helped me set up and prepare for this. So. Mahogany, please come up." He said. And the crowd instantly goes into awe. Everyone's videoing and awe-ing and a few screams and yells , excited that it's finally happening. Jacob is finally going to ask Mahogany out. Mahogany came up and Jacob got down on one knee, held out a ring, and said, "Mahogany Lox. I've liked you since the day I've met you. I knew that we were going to friends forever. And you were so quirky, confident, funny and just beautiful. And today, I've finally decided to ask. Mahogany Lox, will you go out with me and do me the honors of being my girlfriend?" He says into the mic. Everyone instantly goes into awe and yells and screams and takes pictures and videos. I stand next to Mahogany and hold the mic near her mouth, waiting for her reply. She nods happily and tears of joy slip from her eyes. "Yes!" She says into the mic. Everyone cheers and Jacob gets up and places the promise ring on her right ring finger and they hug. "Okay guys. We also have another very special announcement." Cam says into the mic. I look at him surprised and beg him to tell what it is, but instead he just shakes his head and continues speaking. "Hayes. Com'on up here dude." He says and Nash hands him a small box and his mic. "There's...ahh...this girl I've liked for a while now, and I've decided to finally ask her out." He says into the mic. Then he walks over to me and gets down on one knee. Everyone awe's and I put my hands over my mouth to keep from crying, yet. "Isabel Rose Dallas. From the first day I met you, I knew we'd be friends forever. I'll never forget that day. You were so gorgeous. And I would always get jealous when ever I saw you and Michael hanging out together. And I have liked you since the eighth grade. And now, I finally have the courage to ask this. Isabel Rose Dallas, will you be my girlfriend?" He says/asks into the mic. I nod my head and tears of joy start to steam from my face. "Yes!" I say happily into the mic. Hayes, then, stands up and slips the promise ring onto my right ring finger. I hug him and he lifts me up and spins me in the air. He puts me down and everyone cheers and awe's. Then, Bart hands me a mic for a goodbye speech. "Okay guys. These past few months have been the most amazing, funny, crazy, and life-changing experiences. And I'm glad that I could spend every minute with you guys and these goofs over here. I wouldn't have it any other way. We created a family and that's never going to change. These guys are my family and you are too. I want to thank you guys so much for being there with us and following us for the past few months and just supporting us on what we do. I wouldn't have it any other way. This family's so amazing and I love you all. We all love you. See you soon." I say, then hand the mic over to Bart who dismisses the crowd. "Hey Isabel." Mahogany says walking up to me. "Hey!" I say. "Sooo. You and Hayes." She says. "Yup. And you and Jacob." I tease. She blushes and we all walk back to the limo. When we got back to the hotel we started to pack our stuff. "Isabel! Hurry up! Sierra's gonna be here to pick us up in two hours!" Cam yells. "Okay!" I yell back. It's almost 3:30. We decided to go to Cam's and I house before we left and did our different things. Sierra will pick us up at 5:30 and we'll all go to our house{Cam's, Sierra's, and mine}in Bloomfield, NJ. I finished packing and lay on Cam's and I bed and went on my phone.

Cam's pov
Almost two hours later, I go back to our room to get mine and Isabel's luggages and bring them down to Sierra's car. "Isabel. Com'on." I say waking into the room only to find Isabel asleep on the bed with her phone faced down on her stomach. Then Nash walked in. "Hey, can you bring the rest of the bags down, I'm gonna carry Isabel." I ask/say. "Sure bro." He says, then takes them down to the car. I put my phone in my pocket, walk over to Isabel, and carry her down to the car. When I got there everyone was already in and we headed straight for downtown Manhattan and drove back down to Bloomfield, NJ.

Isabel's pov
I woke up a few hours later and everyone was on their phones. We were in the car on our way home. Cam looked down at me. "You can still sleep princess. I'll wake you up when we get there." He whispers. "How much longer?" I ask. "About and hour to a half an hour." He says. I nod my head and go on my phone. About an hour later we arrive at the house. We all get out of the car and start to unpack our things. Cam, Nash, Hayes, and I would would have to share a room because of how many we are and how many rooms we have. After I finish unpacking, I lay on my bed and go on my phone. Yes, I'd have to share my room with my brother and our two best friends. But my room isn't as girly as you'd think. My room's painted teal. One wall has all my drawings I've done tapped onto it and the others are decorated with hearts and posters. Hayes and Nash walks into the room and I quickly get up from my bed and run over to my art wall. "Sorry about the drawings." I say trying to cover them up. "Don't. They're amazing." Hayes says. I blush and Nash agrees. Then Cam walks in and we watch tv and go on our phones till we fall asleep.
