I just realized it's 4 am while I'm uploading all of this- I genuienly thought it was 1 am.

Izuku Midoriya was born to be a ray of sunshine. Someone who gave hope to anyone he graced with his smile. Someone who would do anything for a friend. Someone who would give his all no matter the cost. For the most part, Izuku is. He smiles in the face of everyone who mocks and scorns him for being quirkless. He defends anyone in trouble no matter how much they hate being saved by a 'Deku'. He hugs and reassures his mother whenever she worries for him. He lives life as happy as anyone else. Or at least that'd be true if Izuku were an idiot.

Sure, he still aspires to be a hero, but his reasons shifted with every hate-filled word and fierce punch thrown his way. Now, it's just a game to prove them wrong. To show how a 'Quirkless Deku' is the one who should really be feared. Someone pushed down by society, filled with nothing but hatred and anger is someone who should never be messed with. But it
seems the people around him never got the message.

"Why don't you take a swan dive off a roof". Bakugou yelled.

"Kacchan, that's too harsh!" Izuku smiled nervously, holding back tears, trying to get his notebook back, so Bakugou didn't destroy his hard work.

Bakugou had tormented Midoriya for years. He was the primary cause of Izuku's unending hatred. He rallied kids against him, made sure every day of his life was spent alone and was filled with pain. He made sure Deku was always aware of his 'place'. Too bad 'Kacchan's' place was fragile and easy to tumble.

"Kacchan! Just give me the notebook!" Izuku weakly reached for the notebook, crocodile tears running down his face. Bakugou growled, blowing up the notebook and throwing it out the window.

"In what world do I take orders from a fucking deku like you?"

Izuku had had enough, that notebook wasn't cheap, and filling out had taken him months. His fist clenched. His tears stopped and the only expression visible on his blank fast was a hint of rage in his eyes.

"Kacchan, Did you know you're quirk works by sweating nitroglycerine? Pretty interesting, huh? Perfect for a hero really." Bakugou puffed his chest out, smirking cockily.

"Of fucking course, it's perfect for a hero Deku,"

"Hm, yeah unless of course, you were someone who was holding a can of spray-on antiperspirant. Or if someone broke your hands and feet. Or if the temperature was too low for it to ignite. Or-"

Bakugou was fuming, he shoved Deku back, who just stared. Bakugou flinched at how cold and dead his eyes looked, "What's your fucking point, Shitty Deku?"

Deku held his ground, "My point?" Deku took a step forward, "My point is that with the right tools, you're just as easy to get rid as a fucking fly." He stepped forward again. "If I've got the right plan, well then you can say bye-bye to your quirk," Another step, "The almighty Bakugou without his quirk?" Izuku hummed in thought, "Wouldn't that make you no better than a worthless," Step.

"Useless"

Step.

"Shitty"

Step.

Izuku leaned into Bakugou's face, hissing: "Deku,".

Bakugou was frozen. He couldn't think, he couldn't move, and he couldn't believe what had just happened. Deku had stood up to him. Deku implied he wanted him gone. Deku hated him. And Deku just turned away from this stunned Bakugou, grabbed his backpack, and sent a sunshine smile to Bakugou.

"But that would be pretty villainous, wouldn't it Kacchan? It's almost us unheroic as tell someone to kill themselves. But what kind of monster would do that?" He waved to Bakugou before practically skipping to the door.

"Besides! Being a Deku can be that bad, granted this Deku knew that if he was gonna bully me then blow up my stuff, his best option would be to blow up the voice record I had in my backpack the whole time rather than my notebook! But we can't win them all now can we?" He waved the recorder, "Well, bye Kacchan! I'll see you at UA. Ya know, as long as my finger doesn't slip and accidentally post this recording somewhere that Principal Nezu could see it. That'd be a real bummer!"

With one last wave and a coy smile, Deku was gone. Bakugou had realized he'd made a grave mistake, staring at the spot Izuku had just been, his eyes watering and his jaw dropped.
