I n hindsight, there is no valid reason why Izuku and Touya had stayed in the ice for as long they did. They both had quirks that could easily get themselves out but somehow chose to wait 20 minutes before realizing 'oh yeah, we have strong destructive quirks!".

(Izuku had a blast trying to turn the blocks of ice into two giant statues of Nezu and Lunch Rush.)

(Nezu loved the statue.)

"Alright. We've got an hour or so to get home, change our clothes, munch some ice cream, then meet your enraged brother at a cafe," Izuku listed off, "Please remember, it's not too late to get Mander and bolt,".

And for the first time in his life, Touya weighed the pros and cons of selling cars.

"I'll think about selling cars. Depends on how pissed Shouto looks when we see him," Touya settled for that. No cars now, but maybe later.

~~

"I change my mind, Izuku. Let's get Mander. Those cars aren't gonna sell themselves," Touya stuttered out, trying to make a run from the cafe.

They'd done all of their daily chores ('chores' as in eating ice cream) and had made their way to the cafe. Touya had been so confident earlier. He knew his beloved little brother Shouto would never aim to ruin him, but the look he was wearing said otherwise.

His adorable little brother, who always ran around with tiny little hats and a shy smile, was brooding. He wasn't even doing the blank face Touya was slowly getting used to, he was just glaring. Touya was not about to risk his life.

Unfortunately, he forgot that his current partner in crime did, in fact, have a death wish. Why hadn't he just stayed on the beach? The sand was comfy!

"Heya, Shoto~!" Izuku yelled cheerily across the cafe. The fool had ignored Touya's plea, kicked the door open, and strutted towards Shoto. Touya's pretty sure Izuku even did a little dance on the way towards him.

"C'mon Tokio! Don't you want to see your baby brother!" Izuku's smile got wider and wider. Touya knew he was just messing with him at this.

"I'm good over here," Touya waved, giving a nervous smile to Shoto from the door.

"Why don't you come join us, Tokio? Midoriya looks like he's already having a great time," Shoto raised an eyebrow towards him, glare still prominent.

"Yeah! You should join us or he might snatch me up. He's hot and cool. Totally my type," Izuku sent a wink towards Shoto, who scrunched his nose up in distaste.

With that, Touya was next to Izuku grabbing his face and lecturing him.

"Don't offer me marriage then flirt with my brother! That's weird! Pick one or I'll help Inko sell you! Mander would be pissed!" Touya hissed.

"Somebody's jealous~" Izuku sang.

"I'm not jealous. But you've forced me into a mock engagement between you and a guy I've never met, so the least you can do is be faithful," Touya huffed angrily.

"Sounds like jealousy to me. You can always just put a ring on it, ya know?" Izuku smirked smugly.

Touya just flicked him in the forehead.

"So... you ran away to be with your boyfriend? And didn't think to tell me?" Shouto asked, butting into the conversation. He'd watched the entire interaction with a careful eye. He could see why Touya would want to be with him, they got along well. But he could have at least not let him think he was dead for months.

"Nononononononono," Touya replied frantically, "We aren't dating, he's just annoying,".

"So, you ran off with a stranger?" Shouto asked.

"No. I ran away and stayed onto Dagobah beach for awhile. Izuku came and was messing with his quirk and decided to bring me home," Touya elaborated.

"Dagobah beach? Isn't that just a bunch of trash?".

"Yeah. I was cuddling with trash for a while," Touya sighed.

Then the table fell to an awkward silence. Shoto and Touya were collecting their thoughts, and Izuku had run off a while ago to go grab drinks for them all.

"Touya. Why'd you run away? Why didn't you tell me? I thought you were dead this entire time! Then you join my class under some new name and only revealed yourself because you had to! And you just left a note and ran for it! Why? " Shoto gritted out.

"I... I know. It was shitty of me and I'm sorry. Endeavor was going too far. The training was becoming too much. He almost burnt my skin off because my flame was hotter than his. He was trying to make my body used to heat by burning me, Shouto. I couldn't stay or it would've turned lethal," Touya frowned deeply, "I didn't tell you before now because I didn't want Endeavor to go after you. If you just let it slip that you knew where I was or that I was alive in general, Endeavor would force you to tell him. I just don't want you getting hurt for my actions,".

That was fair. If it was Shouto that ran he probably would've something similar. Minus the whole going home with a stranger thing.

"And the note? Why didn't you just tell me?" Shoto asked.

"I thought you would hate me," Touya nervously said, "I mean, I abandoned you, so I thought I'd avoid your wrath and write a note. Izuku just insisted I write it with glitter pen so I can be 'a coward with glitter'. His words, not mine,".

"Okay." Shoto nodded.

"Okay?"

"I forgive you. But you owe me cold soba for a month and we've got a lot to catch up on. Starting with who's Mander?"

"The dandruff man. He's a guy Izuku met and now insists that he'll be our third when we get married," Touya sighed.

"Get married? I thought you two aren't dating?" Shouto questioned.

"We-" Touya started, only to be cut off by Izuku sliding into the seat next to him.

"Are! Or at least we will be as soon as he accepts my advances," Izuku hummed, drinking down his second boba tea.

"You're annoying. Where's my tea?".

"My stomach. You two were taking too long, but I didn't want to ruin your reunion," Izuku shrugged sipping the drink and aggressively staring Touya down, "And I hope you don't mind, Shoto, but I got kind of hungry too and ate the soba you asked for. Sorry,".

"Touya. I don't approve of you not-boyfriend," Shoto glared, his side already frosting over.

"Me neither," Touya growled, already standing to chase Izuku down.

"Oops."

And that's the story of how Izuku was brutally murdered by the other 2/3 of the 'Fuck Endeavor' club.

(Jk, he survived, but his dodging skills were really put to the test).
