Jaehyun doesn't know where to begin after what happened. It felt like a big part of him was lost. Literally, Taeyong really was a strong impact on him. It took him months before he snapped and did his best to get on with life. He knew Taeyong would say that to him, rather than him sulking.
He finished senior high and college when he majored in Marketing. Jaehyun tried his hardest to do everything to keep himself busy. Then he decided to stop his hobbies, same with his gang.
Every night, he would lay down on his bed and staring at ceiling, thinking of what he should've done so Taeyong would've stayed. He would do that for hours until he falls asleep, with Taeyong still in his mind. It hurts him. It really does and he wished everything went different. He wished Taeyong was there to support him.
Despite everything, everyone was on a good state right now and they have their own works with decent majors. Jaehyun was thankful to have friends like them. Right now, Jaehyun was fixing himself infront of his mirror and trying to make himself to look decent in his outfit.
"Hyung, are you done?" Mark knocked loudly against the door.
Jaehyun finished fixing his hair before he goes out of his room, "Hey, I just paid for that."
Mark chuckled, "You ready?"
"Yeah, is Hyuck done? He might be late for his graduation."
The man nodded, "Yeah, everyone's ready. Let's go!"
Both of them walked down the stairs and met with the gang. Mark wrapped his arm around Donghyuck and placed a peck on the boy's lips. Jaehyun smiled at the sight. He thought he should just go and start dating.
They walked out of their new home. Yes, they decided to buy a new house with many rooms for them. Also, most of them did have the work with a decent pay so they were able to buy one. It was hard to leave the old one for Jaehyun since the man had so many memories with it, but it was a fresh start.
It was time to move on.
All of them wanted to attend Donghyuck's graduation so they're all in their casual clothing with the youngest being in a suit. They went into their van and Johnny drove to where the boy's college is. They arrived soon and was greeted by many students and guardians by the gate.
"It's starting. Get your ass there," Jaehyun told Donghyuck.
The boy rolled his eyes and grabbed Johnny's hand, "I know."
Johnny's his guardian since Mark didn't want to be cheesy on stage. Also, Donghyuck might pull off something stupid on stage.
"Alright, see you later, love," Mark uttered before Donghyuck and Johnny went to fall in line with other graduates.
"Let's wait for them there," Yuta uttered, pointing by the side.
"Wait, I forgot the fucking bouquet," Mark said and sighed.
"I'll do it. Stay here and I'll buy the bouquet for that demon," Jaehyun uttered.
Mark nodded before the man went out of the school grounds. Jaehyun saw a flower shop somewhere so he looked around and walked a bit further before he saw it. It was across the road and he saw fresh bouquets.
Jaehyun walked carefully across and stood infront of the shop. He looked at the flowers outside of the shop. Maybe he could just buy a bouquet of sunflowers. For sure, Donghyuck would appreciate it. If not, then he'll let Mark hold it and pretend his boyfriend bought it for him.
Jaehyun was about to go inside of shop but he bumped on a boy which made some of the water inside the vase, that the boy was holding, to spill on the man's dress shirt. The man was surprised, same with the boy who he bumped.
"Oh! I'm so sorry!" the boy panicked.
Jaehyun chuckled, "No, it's fine."
The boy looked at the man and their eyes were stuck on each other. It seemed like the world slowed down and their hearts started beating at a steady pace. Jaehyun felt like he stopped breathing.
"P-Please, come inside! We need to clean your shirt!" the boy uttered and immediately went into the shop.
Jaehyun snapped out and thought about it before he walked into the store and saw that the place looked nice with the place around, and some paintings were against the walls. It looked pretty and very cozy-looking.
"I'm really sorry about it. I can clean your shirt..." the boy said as he grabbed a cloth and started patting it against the wet spot on the shirt.
Jaehyun smiled, "...How? I don't have another one to change in."
The boy stopped and nodded awkwardly, "Right...I can give you free flowers of your choice instead."
The man wanted to hold himself back but he wanted to make sure it's still him after all those years of waiting.
"Do you remember me?"
"Why? Have we met?"
Jaehyun was taken aback but he just shrugged, "I'm sorry, I must've mistaken you for someone."
The boy looked at him with those pretty doe eyes Jaehyun loved. They were still the same. They were still sparkling like they should be. He couldn't believe he could see him again, but sadly, the boy doesn't seem to have the memory of Jaehyun anymore.
"Have you waited that long?"
Jaehyun was taken aback and his eyes widened, "What?"
The boy smiled sweetly at him and tilted his head to the side, handing his hand out for the man to shake.
"I'm Taeyong, nice to meet you again, Jaehyun."
END.
