Alec walked into the library and looked to the side at the front desk, expecting to see his boss, Xavier, standing there, but he wasn't. Then where is he? Alec thought as he walked down the isles of book shelves. After a minute of searching, Alec found Xavier sitting on a small stool with his head down and a limp, open book in his hands, surrounded by stacks of books and partially filled shelves- in the back of the place. "Are you okay?" Alec asked, used to Xavier being tough around him and always prepared, but today he looked like... well he looked like shit. His hair was all messed up and not full as if he didn't take a shower that morning and he looked tired.

Xavier's head snapped up as if he had been sleeping- he probably was- and he looked up at Alec. "Huh?" Alec sighed and carefully walked through the stacks of books then kneeled down in front of Xavier. Xavier's cheeks bloomed a bright pink as he leaned back to distance his face a bit from Alec's. "I asked if you were okay? You look tired and disheveled," Alec said and Xavier sighed and glanced away. "I'm fine. I just didn't get any sleep last night," Xavier said, but Alec didn't believe him, this rarely happened and if it did Xavier would tell him. Alec looked down at the book still in Xavier's hand and read the word "Advice", advice on what?

Alec took the book from Xavier and Xavier let out a complain and reached for the book, but Alec held it out of his reach. "What's this?" He asked with a raised eyebrow and read the title. Alec's eyes widened. "Advice on how to ask out guys?!" He exclaimed in surprise. His eyes lowered and he side glanced Xavier with a smirk. "I didn't take you for the gay type." Alec's pink eyes gleamed with mischievous intent. "Who is it?" He asked and Xavier's face burst into a crimson red. "No one!" He snapped in embarrassment. "Sure," Alec muttered and put the book on a random stack then turned to Xavier again with replaced concern. "But this doesn't explain why you look like this," he said as Xavier stood up and pushed the stool away. Alec stood up to and looked down at Xavier. Xavier lifted his neck and looked away, exposing a new tattoo of a black and blood red butterfly in flight. When did he get that? Alec thought as Xavier sighed. "It kinda does, someone's been on my mind... but that someone hasn't seen my signals," Xavier explained and Alec's smirk faded. He's been hanging out with him... wait- why am I jealous?! It swam through Alec's mind like a snake in water. "I can't sleep that's why I'm tired and I accidentally slept in so I couldn't take a shower," Xavier said. (He feel asleep at like 5 tho) Alec ran his fingers through Xavier's bangs and pushed them to the side. Xavier gripped Alec's wrist and looked up at him then turned the two of them and pinned Alec against the bookshelf.

Alec's eyes widened. "What are you doing?" Alec asked with a small, but sharp tone. "I know you're jealous, I can see it in your eyes-" Alec looked to the side with a guilty face "-but you're the one I like," Xavier finished with narrowed eyes. Alec's eyes widened at first but then lowered and he smirked, looking back down at Xavier. "Aww babe, that was a bit cheesy~" Alec drawled and Xavier's face exploded in dark red again (his blush had settled down a bit before) when he heard Alec call him "babe". Xavier started stuttering and when Alec pinned him to the shelf, knocking some of the books off of a stack. "When did you get that tattoo on your neck?" Alec asked and Xavier bit his bottom lip. "Two days ago on Saturday. It made me think of you. A deadly butterfly cuz you're beauti-" Xavier trailed off as he realized what he was saying and Alec let out a huff of breath. "What is this a cliche love story? Just let me kiss you and shut up," Alec said right before lifting Xavier's chin, wrapping an arm around his waist, and pressing his lips against Xavier's. Xavier let out a surprised sound but almost immediately melted into the kiss.

Alec parted from the kiss and kissed the butterfly on Xavier's neck, making Xavier let out a small sound- but then Alec pulled away from him and let him go. Xavier looked confused, clearly expected something more, so Alec nodded his head to the books. "Let's get these shelved and after work we could hang out at my house since I don't have a little sister or parents." Alec turned and grabbed a small stack of books and started to put them up alphabetically. When Xavier didn't move Alec glanced back at him with a gleam in his eyes. "And maybe we can continue this there, where we wont have interruptions." Alec drawled on the "maybe". Xavier's eyes widened a little and he nodded then turned to pick up some books. "Right! Right, sorry," he hurriedly said and Alec let out a chuckle with a roll of his eyes.
