I was just walking around the school grounds when I notice a male figure sitting underneath a weeping cherry tree in the courtyard. As I got closer I saw that he was hunched over, with his head down, and his eyes looked tired (well from what I could see). I walked over, my feet crunching in the autumn leaves and he lifted a hand, waving in my direction without lifting his arm or his head, indicating that he heard me approach.

"Hey, are you okay?" I asked and he looked up. I couldn't help but blush a little at how beautiful his eyes were. They were a light valentine shade of pink that didn't really match with his skin color and his pupils were slitted like a cat's.

"Yeh- I'm fine," he said but his voice was dull, dead. I then noticed that he was shaking slightly and that he was wearing a thin blue T-shirt without a jacket and sighed. I took my jacket off and he tensed up. "W-What are you doing?" He stuttered, his eyes a bit wider and I scoffed. "Chill man, I'm not gonna do anything, I'm just taking off my jacket," I said then kneeled down in front of him and pulled the jacket over him. He pursed his lips and slipped his arms into the jacket and put his hands on his knees. "T-Thanks," he said in a small voice and I gave a small smile then fixed my round glasses and pushed my bangs out of my eyes.

"So, I'm Xavier, you?" I asked and he glanced up. "Alec." I gave a small nod then switched positions so I was sitting criss crossed. "Why are you sitting out here in the cold without a jacket?" I asked and he sighed and looked away, while dropping his head a bit.

"I- um- just got some trouble at home a-and b-bullies." He closed his eyes tightly when he said 'bullies' and I couldn't help but give him a warm smile. "Are you afraid, I'd bully you for acting weak or admitting you've got problems?" I asked and he looked up with surprise. "Y-You're not?" He asked incredulously and I laughed. "Of course not! I've been there man." He rubbed the back of his neck and a sheepish smile crept up on his lips. "S-Sorry for a-assuming," he said and I chuckled. "You've got to stop apologizing." He huffed. "Yeah, guess so," he mumbled.

I looked over his face and realized that a faint purple bruise was covering his right eye. I went on my knees and lifted his chin up without thinking and frowned. His eyes widened and a blush snuck up on cheeks which I looked past and touched the bruise lightly with my thumb, causing him to wince. "Where did you get this?" I asked with a firm tone, already catching myself getting possessive and protective feelings for this boy.

"I-" he cast his eyes downward and I gripped his chin in my hand, scooting a bit closer so I didn't fall over on him. "Someone punched me," he finally answered after a good five minutes of silence. My black bear ears flicked in annoyance and I let go of his chin then backed up and huffed, letting my anger fade. "Sorry," I muttered, crossing my arms and looking to the side. "It's fine, but damn you can be intimidating," he said with a different tone of voice I couldn't put my finger on. "Oh?" I side glanced him and he shook his head then blushed heavily. "Sorry!" He blurted and I raised an eyebrow. "What was that about?" I asked and he looked down and started to fidget with the zipper. "N-Nothing," he answered and a small smirk started to play on my lips. I don't know why but the urge to top him came to mind and- NO! We just meant. I-I shouldn't be thinking about that... should I? No! No no no! But fuckkkkk- just the thought of him underneath me.

"X-Xavier," I heard and I blinked to find that I was over top of Alec. My eyes widened and I blushed a dark red. "S-Sorry!" I blurted and got off him and stood. I heard the leaves crunching behind me... then felt a hand pulling on my ball of fluff tail. I squeaked and looked back to see him smirking, his eyes gleaming. "Isn't there something that goes like 'think before you act'?"

"I didn't mean it like that!" I exclaimed and he chuckled and leaned in. "Sure you didn't." I whined. "Alec!" He laughed. "What now, Teddy bear?" I mentally squealed at the name. I needed to get him to stop cuz I could feel his actions and tone turning me on. "Alec if you don't stop-" he interrupted me and I huffed, "stop what? I haven't even done anything yet." I growled lightly. "Alec!" I squealed in a high pitch voice and covered my mouth in surprise. I- I've never- my god.

I looked back to see that Alec was laughing at me, stumbling back. I groaned and turned to him. "Don't laugh," I groaned and looked to the side in embarrassment even though it was already too late for it. "Oh my God!" He gasped as he finally stopped laughing and bent over with his hands on his knees. I made a small noise of disapproval and he groaned, straightening up. "Didn't know you were a girl Xav," he said with a bright smile. "I'm not!" I protested and he laughed. "Explain that squeal though!" He teased and I narrowed my eyes at him. "I'll fucking destroy you!" I snapped and his cheeks turned pink as he asked, "in which way?" This bitch really has a death with. I walked over and grabbed him by the collar and pulled him over, making him shut up quickly and his eyes widened. I glared at him for a good minute before saying, "don't test me 'Lic." He blushed at the nickname but I noticed fear in his eyes. I let him go and huffed, stomping my foot down a little in annoyance. "Jerk-" I muttered. "I love you too~" he drawled and I blushed. "You can return that jacket tomorrow or whenever you can. I'm going home and I expect you to to as well." I said and started walking away. "Come on man!" Alec yelled after me and started jogging to catch up. "What?" I called over my shoulder. "It was just a joke," he said when he caught up to me and started walking beside me. "Don't play with others feelings like that," I mumbled, still feeling the after affects of his actions. "Fine! Sorry, but you should know I'm an Incubus, it's in our blood," he said and I narrowed my eyes at him. "That's not an excuse! I-" I stopped myself and kept walking, shoving my hands in my pockets. "You what?" He pressed and I growled. "I've had my heart broken too many times in the past and frankly, I've had enough!" I snapped and he paused in his steps, causing my body to stop moving too. I don't know why I was waiting for this asshole. "I-I'm Sorry." I looked back to see he had his head down and his hands in this pocket. I gave a heavy sigh. "Just keep walking or I'm leaving you behind." He looked up and kept walking with me.
