I don't really know what I was expecting. Him to be wearing something casual, like jeans and a t-shirt, probably, but no.

As I walked to the rendezvous spot at the park and I nearly froze in my spot and I swear that my heart skipped a beat when I saw Xavier. He was sitting on a bench, facing away from me, with one of his legs up across his lap and he was wearing >insert description of the outfit in the picture above cuz I'm lazy<. I suddenly felt under-dressed in just tight fitting navy blue jeggings and a light blue t-shirt with a black jacket tied around my waist. Then I noticed something in Xavier's back pocket as I walked closer. It was hidden under his shirt though so it would be weird if I just walked up and lifted his shirt, right? Heh. So many ways someone could take that out of context.

"Hey! Xav," I called and he turned in his seat and flashed a bright smile, which I don't think I've ever seen on him. It's either forced or someone gave him advice, but damn was it working. Now I'm wishing I had worn looser pants. I walked over and bent over, resting my arms on the back of the bench and looking down at Xavier. "So... where are we going first?" I asked and he blinked as if taken out of a trance and he looked around. "Well- I- I honestly don't know, I didn't think I'd get this far," he admitted and I chuckled. "Then good thing I ma- brought these," I said, taking two fake ID's out of my back pocket and holding them between my first two fingers, waving them slightly in front of Xavier. "Where the hell did you get these?!" He exclaimed as he took his own fake ID and I laughed. "I have my ways," I drawled and he looked up at me with narrowed eyes. "Please don't tell me I started dating a bad boy who gets into too much trouble," he nearly begged and I busted out laughing, taking a step back from the bench.

I heard Xavier let out a huff when my laughing came to a end. "Oh come on man! Just live a little!" I said, throwing my hands up and he rolled his eyes. "I've already lived too much of my life," he muttered and I rolled my eyes and walked around to stand in front of him. I grabbed his wrist and hauled him up, then put my ID in my back pocket as I pulled him away from the park. "Where are we going?" He asked with a slight tinge of worry in his voice. "Welllllll I was gonna take you to a nearby bar, but since you're such a coward. Do you want to go to the shooting range instead?" I drawled, looking back at him with a small smirk. His eyes narrowed at me. "I ain't a fucking coward!" He snapped and I laughed lightly. "Prove it then." He huffed. Then his expression changed to a small smirk and my smile faded a bit. "Are you afraid of heights?" He asked and I nearly choked on nothing. I covered it up quickly and shook my head. "No- no." He started pulling me in the direction of his house and I gulped, slightly worried at what he was planning. I don't even know why I lied to him! Actually- I do. It's mostly cuz I called him a coward and I don't want to give me an excuse to us it on me.

When we got to his house, he told me to wait outside and went to his backyard. After a few minutes of waiting, I started to get impatient, tapping my foot on the ground. I was about to go back there when he came back, his hair a bit messy and a huge glider that was probably meant for two people in his hands. He panted lightly as he neared me and I raised an eyebrow at the glider. "1, why do you have this? And 2, what are we gonna do?" I questioned and he chuckled. "1, I don't even remember. And 2, you'll see," he drawled the last sentence and I shuddered. What have I gotten myself into?

And now we are standing on the top of one of the tallest buildings we could find. I was shaking like a leaf and willing myself not to look down as Xavier got the glider ready. Once he did, he stood at the edge of the roof and turned to me. "You wanted me to prove-" he started, "Not like this!" I snapped in a shrill voice. He laughed. "Are you scared?" He asked and I gripped the hem of my shirt tightly as I looked up at him. "I'm fucking terrified! When I lied to you about the height fear I didn't think we'd be doing this!" I was close to tears at this point. I really didn't want to do this. It's a fucking death sentence. Xavier's expression changed almost instantly as soon as he saw my face. He set the glider down under something heavy so it wouldn't get blown away and walked over to me. He put his hands on my arms and gave me a small warm smile. "We don't have to, Alec." I bit my lip and looked down. "I thought you wanted to do this cuz you were so excited," I mumbled and he lifted my chin up (even tho he's shorter than Alec lol). "Do you want me to do it and you can meet me at the bottom?" He asked and I shook my head furiously, without thinking. "I don't want you to get hurt," I whined and he hugged me. "Alright." I gripped the back of his shirt tightly and buried my face into his shoulder. "Why did you lie to me though?" He asked in a curious tone and I let out a sigh. "I thought you'd bully me for it. I thought after my mom died that I was supposed to be all tough," I murmured and I felt him kiss my neck lightly.

After that, we walked down from the roof and onto the ground outside and I took a deep breath and let it out, calming myself. "I'm sorry-" Xavier said and I looked at him, he was looking down at his feet and fiddling with the glider's wings. I nudged his shoulder. "It's not your fault, its mine. I was the dumbass and lied about my fear of heights," I said with a small laugh and he huffed and made a small sound of disapproval. We took the glider back to Xavier's house and then went to the bar instead since Xavier insisted that he needed to pay be back for what he did. I rolled my eyes at the comment but he practically dragged me there.

We sat down at the stools by the counter and the bartender walked over to us then raised an eyebrow. "Aren't you two a bit young to be drinking?" She asked and I shook my head. I took my ID out and passed it to her. She pursed her lips then sighed. "Fine, but I'm not letting you two get too drunk," she said and gave me my ID back. "So?" She asked and I glanced at Xavier. "Rum shots?" He said in a questioning tone, taken me aback that that would be his drinking choice. "And just a lemonade for me," I said to her and she nodded and walked away. Xavier raised an eyebrow at me. "Why didn't you order a actual drink?" He asked and I scoffed with a small laugh. "Someone needs to be sober enough to carry your ass back home," I drawled, side glancing him with lowered eyes which gleamed. His eyes widened and his cheeks turned a hot pink as he looked away. I chuckled and smiled. This is gonna be a fun relationship.
