It was the first day of school. I was a senior. I looked at my schedule but couldn't find my first class. I seen a boy standing in front of me looking at his schedule.
"Excuse me, do you know where room 402 is?" I asked him
He looked at me and he was actually really cute.
"Yeah that's my first class actually" he says
" do you know where the rest of your classes are?" He asked me
"No" I said shamefully
"You good shawty, let me see your schedule" he says
I handed him my schedule. He was looking at it
"We got the same schedule" he laughed
"We do?" I asked
"Yeah, you can just follow me and we can get to know each other" he said
I smiled at him and he smiled back
"Your smile is cute" he says
"No it's not" I say
"Yes it is" he says
I blushed
"Come on, it's always better to be early to class" he says
I followed behind him as we walked into our first class which was science. There was already about 7 students in there so we were not gonna be alone. Me and Jahseh were quiet until he started speaking to me.
"Aye" he says
I looked at him signaling for him to go on.
"What's yo name?" He asks
"Y/n" I say
"Y/n? It fits you perfectly" he says
"I'm Jahseh" he adds on
"That's actually a really pretty name" I say making him smile
"Thanks" he says

The bell rang and students came in the classroom.
We then had our first class and it went really well and Jahseh introduced me to his friends and I introduced him to mine. Overall me and Jahseh got along well.

The school day was over and I was riding the bus. I sat down and started scrolling through my phone when someone sat next to me. I looked to my left and seen Jahseh.
"You ride the bus Jahseh?" I asked
"Yeah" he says
I nodded and went back to my phone as he did the same.

We were at our bus stop when everybody in the bus stood up and started walking out. Jahseh stood up and walked into the isle.
"You first shawty" he says
"Thank you" I say getting in front of him and walked out the bus. Me and Jahseh went out separate ways. It took me 3 minutes to walk from the bus stop to my house.

I walked in the house and was greeted by my mom
"Hey, how was your first day?" She asked
"It actually went really well" I said
"Did you make any new friends?" My dad asked
I nodded my head
"What's her name?" He asked
"HIS name is Jahseh" I said
He looked at me and the look he was giving me was not a good one.
"So it's a boy?" He asked
"Yeah" I said
"Do you like him?" He asked
"She just met him today" my mom says
"That don't mean shit" my dad says
"No. I don't like him but he is cute" I say. That made my dad a little mad because he hates it when I find any attraction towards a male. He says 'I should be the only man in your life' but, whatever.
"You better let him know whose daughter he's fuckin wit" he says
"Stop" my moms says
I just went upstairs annoyed at my dads overprotective behavior. I was thinking about my day at school and convinced myself that Jahseh was just gonna forget I ever existed because that's what all the boys did.
I did my nightly routine and went to bed.
