I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I searched for my phone and seen Jahseh must've hung up in the middle of the night.
I got dressed when my dad came into my room.
"Tell that fuck ass nigga to stop looking at yo ass" he demands
"Why?" I asked
"Oh so you want him to look at yo ass?" He asks
"I didn't say that" I said
"You were gonna" he says
"N-" I was cut off
"And let me find out he treatin you like shit" he says
"He's not" I say
He then walks out my room. I rolled my eyes because I didn't know what Jahseh did to make him so mad.

I left and walked to the bus stop. The bus arrived and today I sat in the back with my head against the window.

I made it to the school and walked in. I was walking to the library when I seen Jahseh talking to his friends. He looked at me and smiled.
"Hey Y/n" he happily says
"Hi Seh" I say sadly
"What's wrong?" He asks. All of his friends were looking at me .
"Nothing" I say. I walked into the library. And sat down with my head down but turned sideways. I seen Jahseh sit beside me.
"What's wrong ma?" He asks
I just sighed. He puts his head down in the same position and starts rubbing my back.
"It's okay ma. You can tell me" he says
"My dad. He just doesn't know how to talk to girls. He just so aggressive with what he says" I say
"Don't let your dad get inside your head. You're stronger than you think. I know how strong you are" he comforts me
I gave him a smile. He smiled back.
"I'm glad I have the ability to put a smile back on your face" he says
"Me too" I smiled
"Come on" I say putting my backpack on
We walked out the library and into class

We had three classes before going into lunch. It was lunchtime and I just wasn't hungry so I just sat with my friends but didn't eat. Jahseh's friends were sitting with us. I noticed Jahseh wasn't there and we were 15 minutes into lunch and he wasn't showing up.
"Stokely" I said. The lunch room was loud so he couldn't hear me.
"Stokely" I said louder. He looked at me
"Where's Jahseh?" I asked
"Umm......I don't know" he says looking around the room. I looked around the room as well. No sign of him. They all were looking at me.
"Who you lookin for?" One of my friends asked.
"Jahseh" I reply
I continued looking and couldn't find him.
"I'll be back" I said getting up. I walked into the hall looking for him. I seen a student with his knees pulled up to his chest with his head down. I recognized the hoodie. It was JAHSEH.
"Jah?" I asked
He looked up at me and stood up.
"Hey ma" he says
"What's wrong?" I asked
"Honestly......I don't know....I'm just...sad but I don't have a reason to be" he says
"I felt that" I say nodding my head and putting my hand on my chest. He chuckled.
"I hate saying this but....I just really need a hug right now" he says. I didn't hesitate to wrap my arms around his neck as he wrapped his arms around my back. He rested his head on top of mine. He pulled away.
"You cold?" He asked
"Yeah" I reply. He proceeded to take of his hoodie. He was wearing a white t shirt under so it was fine. He handed me his grey 'thrasher' hoodie.
"Thanks" I say putting it on.
I smelled the sleeve
"Mmmm smells good" I say. He looked me up and down then smiled.
"What?" I asked giggling
"You're pretty" he says
"You're fine" I say back
He chuckled
"Come on" he says putting his arm around my shoulder. We walked back in the lunch room.
"So y'all datin now?" Isaiah asked
"No" I reply

The school day was over and Jahseh and I were riding the bus, making conversation. The bus stopped at our stop. We got off.
"I loved that hug earlier....c-can I have another one?" Jahseh asked
"Sure" I giggled
I wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around my back. We pulled away.
"Hit me up later" he says dragging his hands off of my body
I nodded and we parted our ways
