While we were driving I got a text from my mom. My phone was on Jahseh's lap while he was driving. I don't know why. I was looking out the window

"Your mom said your dad is drinking again and she wants you to stay with me" he says
"For real?" I asked
"Yeah" he says handing me my phone.
I responded with 'ok. I love you'.

We arrived at his house and his parents told us that they were going out. It was just me and Jah.

We were watching TV when Jahseh broke the silence.
"Mama" he says
I turned and looked at him. He started caressing my cheek.
"Are you....broken?" He asked
"What do you mean?" I questioned
"Like....I know you tell me everything but I feel like there's things deep down that you're not telling me, you always doubt yourself, you often need reassurance and I'm sure your dad and his drinking has a big effect on you" he says
"Oh....I guess am then" I say
"Sometimes I just don't wanna be here anymore so I can get away from all this" I say looking down
He grabbed my chin making me look at him.
"Please.....don't do that to me" he pleads
"I just think about it" I say
"I love you and you've had such a big effect on my life....but just know that if you go down I'm goin witchu" he says
"Thanks Seh" I thank him smiling
He pulled me in for a hug
