the big black dog

He was just approaching towards the voice when a huge black dog jumped in front of him.harry reflexively backed off and was startled.the dog came closer to him and just wagged it's tail.harry relaxed after realising that the dog was no harm.he smiled at it he just dropped to his knees and just started patting at scratching it's years.the dog was strangely very much familiar to him.the dog looked very skinny and also had a wound on it's hand.
Sirius was just startled for a minute when harry started patting him but then he relaxed and leaned on his hands.he is really so like james the round glasses the messy hair except his eyes,he had his mother's eyes...Lily's eyes sirius thought to himself smiling and looking fondly at harry."you are wounded" Harry's concerned voice pulled him out of his thoughts.he was watching harry intently as harry  dressed his wound with his handkerchief.with every passing minute sirius just can't stop feeling proud of Harry's nature.he just gave a joyful bark."now it is better" said harry with a smile."well u look very skinny... i think i have something for u to eat" said harry as he took the sandwich out from his pocket which was wrapped in paper and after unwrapping it he offered it to the dog."this is the only thing i have right now" said harry with a smile.sirius was already hungry so he just started eating the sandwich.he is so much pure hearted and kind just like his mother thought sirius with a smirk. he looked up and was surprised to see harry pulling a piece of glass from his hand.his heart clenched as he saw harry hissing in pain.harry is injured but then also was helping me sirius walked closer to harry to take a look at his hands he was surprised to see the rope marks on his wrist.who did this to harry i will just kill them.harry after realising that the dog was looking at his hands subconsciously started patting it again there was something in that dog that was very much familiar to harry."oh dont worry about me i m fine" there was a long pause.sirius was just looking harry with concerned eyes while harry was just patting him."u need a name i just can't call u a dog or something like that...ummm what...about...umm..snuffles"said harry with excitement in his voice.sirius just gave a bark to show his agreement and was smiling inside.harry just smiled at him and then there was again a long pause."it's not fair" harry began subconsciously.sirius just watched him intently  "it's not at all fair that i was locked in my room for a whole day for the thing on which i had no control over" his eyes were glistening with unshed tears.sirius was just furious how dare those muggles lock harry like that "it was not me it was my accidental magic which broke the vase...my uncle just dragged me into my room and tied me to the window bars without any food or water and untied me in the evening only becoz they wanted me to cook dinner" sirius was now just more than furious how dare they treat harry like this and starving him i will just kill them i should have known what else could i expect from the dursleys it's my fault that harry has to live such a miserable life he just gave a angry bark at that moment he just wanted to hug harry but he restrained himself."and all these was not enough that aunt marge is also coming tomorrow to add to my misery"said harry with frustration."and now i have to go back otherwise i would be forced to sleep outside the house "said harry giving sirius a last smile.before sirius could react harry ran back to his house.sirius was very much sad by knowing that all these years harry was living a miserable life,i had failed james and lily and harry. Sirius sat under a bench and sobbed to sleep
