nightmares

It was next week and sirius had to go to give remus company. Harry and sirius were eating breakfast. "So how r u going to spend ur time" asked sirius."i will just read some books and complete my potions assignment." Answered harry. Harry finished before sirius. He got up to keep his plate in the washsink. Suddenly Harry's scar gave another shot of pain. His grip on the plate loosened and it fell on the floor and shattered. Sirius immediately ran towards harry."harry r u okay" asked sirius with worry etched on his face."i m fine i m sorry i will clean it" said harry."no i will do that dont worry just tell me what happened" asked sirius."umm nothing i just lost my grip on the plate " harry lied as he didn't wanted to worry sirius. He stood up and went straight to his room. Something is wrong i can feel it that's why my scar is hurting harry thought to himself. He was worried. He sat on his bed and gently soothed his scar which was still stinging. Sirius came into Harry's room."i think i have to go now"said sirius gently. Harry nodded. Sirius gave him a smile and ruffled his hair. Then with a last goodbye he went away. Harry started doing his assignments but he was not able to concentrate beacause of his worry. He closed his book and went downstairs. He watched tv for a while then prepared for the lunch then came back to his room. He spent his whole day the same way. At night he decided to write to his friends. He told them about sirius's trial in the letter. After writing the letter he went to sleep. He woke up late in the morning. They will come tomorrow harry said to himself. He spent his time like the previous day. He got letter from ron in which he had invited harry to come with him to see the quidditch world cup. Harry was excited about it.
Sirius and remus came home early in the morning by floo."u need to rest remus i will go and check harry" said sirius. Remus sat on the couch with a nod. Sirius went to Harry's room and sat on his bed. He gently stroked his hair. Harry slightly opened his eyes and smiled at sirius."u r back" said harry sitting up."did u missed me" said sirius smirking."no not at all" said harry in a mocked tone. He got up and went downstairs to see remus sitting on the couch."hi remus" said harry smiling at him."hi harry get ready i will make the breakfast" said remus to which harry nodded. He got ready and went for the breakfast. "Sirius i got letter from ron and he has invited me to go to see the quidditch world cup with him. And i know hermione will also be coming" said harry excitedly."oh that's great" said sirius happily."u should go and hermione will also be going" said sirius smirking. "Shut up sirius" said harry blushing slightly. Sirius and remus both smirked at this.

It was 3 in the night when remus heard some noises which were coming from Harry's room. He immediately woke up sirius."what is ur problem" sirius said annoyedly. "Its harry" said remus quickly getting up. Sirius woke up immediately and rushed to Harry's room. He saw harry twitching on his bed sweating profusely his hands clutching his scar.
He sat on his knees next to the bed."no..noo" Harry muttered. Sirius started getting anxious. He started shaking him gently."harry wake up..wake up its just a nightmare " sirius tried waking harry. Harry was panting for breath. Sirius looked at remus worriedly. Remus quickly took out his wand and casted enervate. Harry woke up with a start his hands still on the scar."its ok harry it was just a nightmare" said sirius in a calm voice. Harry simply nodded without looking at him. "R u alright" asked sirius worriedly."fine" said harry. "Do u want to go back to sleep" asked remus sitting next to harry. Harry shook his head."lets go downstairs and watch tv for a while" said sirius. Harry nodded and they all went downstairs."i m sorry i woke u up" said harry feeling guilty."it's ok pup it's not ur fault anyway" said sirius gently stroking Harry's hair."do u want to talk about ur nightmare" sirius asked gently. Harry recalled all the events of his nightmares in which a man was being tortured and was eventually killed. He quickly shook his head."no problem u dont have to if u don't want to" said sirius after seeing Harry's reaction. There was complete silence for a few moments. Sirius and remus were sharing worried glances at each other. "So pup i was asking.." Sirius stopped as he saw harry sleeping peacefully on his shoulder. He couldn't help smiling at this. Remus also smiled at the sight."good night pup" said sirius gently kissing his Harry's forehead. Remus looked at them happily and then went to his room. Harry leaned towards sirius and slept comfortably.
In the morning he woke up to see he was sleeping on the couch with sirius. He looked towards kitchen to see remus was making the breakfast. He slowly loosened sirius's grip on him so that he can wake up without waking him up. He got up and went to the kitchen."good morning harry" said remus smiling at him."morning moony" said harry sleepily. Remus smiled at the use of his nickname."sirius is still sleeping" asked remus to which harry nodded."why didn't u woke him" asked remus."let him sleep for a while he must have not slept comfortably in the couch also i woke u both late at night" said harry with guilty eyes. "Harry.." Remus was interrupted ny sirius who was standing behind harry." I slept very well pup i have never slept this peacefully in my life" said sirius with a warm smile."me too" said harry in a whisper. But both sirius and remus heard it. They grimaced at him. "Get ready and come for the breakfast" said remus gently. Harry nodded and went to get ready.
Harry came down to see letters were kept on the table. It was from his friends. Harry read both the letters and smiled."what's written harry" asked sirius curiously. "Ron will come here with his family on my birthday in the evening after that trial will be over and hermione is also coming this time for my birthday though she will stay at Ron's place but she wants to come and see me before so if u don't mind..." Harry was interrupted by sirius."Ofcourse she can come here" harry smiled at him.
2 days before Harry's birthday both ron and hermione had arrived at grimmauld place. "Hi herm.." Harry was pulled into a tight hug before he could complete. He smiled and hugged her back. But he quickly pulled apart as he saw sirius and remus smirking at him. "Hi ron" said harry giving a brotherly hug to ron."Hi sirius and Proffesor" said hermione and ron smiled at both of them."oh plz dont call me proffesor u can call me remus as i m no longer ur proffesor" said remus to which ron and hermione smiled giving him a smile. "I have to go to meet someone i will see u all later" said remus before going. Harry stared at sirius in confusion to which sirius smiled at him with a wink. "So why dont u play something" suggested sirius."exploding snaps" said ron excitedly. They played until lunch time."now i have to cook lunch" said harry going towards kitchen."sirius will" ron was interrupted by harry."ya he can until unless u want to burn the house or get food poisoning" said harry smirking at sirius."heyy" said sirius glaring at harry but then he joined them in the laugh. "I will help u with it" said hermione accompanying harry to the kitchen. Harry smiled at her."till then we can play ron" said sirius sitting next to ron.
The lunch was ready soon. "I dont know how but harry always finds a way to get in trouble" said hermione." As i have said before i don't find trouble trouble finds me" harry said annoyedly. Sirius chuckled at this."i hope it doesn't find u this year" said ron chuckling. Harry smiled back. They started discussing about their 3rd year." Would u have really killed me if remus had not intervened" asked sirius casually. "No even if i wanted but i couldn't i just can't think about hurting someone let alone kill" said harry. Sirius smiled at proudly at him and ron and hermione smiled at him in admiration."as i told u u r too good for this world" said sirius smiling at harry. Harry smiled at back.
After lunch they talked for a while and then they went back to the burrow after bidding goodbye to each other. "Today was fun" said harry and sirius nodded at him. "Harry i just wanted to tell u that u can't come to see the trial" said sirius to which harry frowned in confusion."whatt..why" blurted harry."coz i m saying so" sirius said to which harry stood up "that's not a valid reason" said harry with a tone of anger in his voice. Sirius sighed."ohk..i don't want u to come becoz if i m not cleared then this time they will sentence me to the dementors kiss at once and..i dont want u to see that..i dont want u to be there if something like this happens." Said sirius sadly. Harry's glare at sirius softened. He sat on his knees in front of sirius."how dare u think like that do u have any idea what will happen to me if u.." Said harry with a heavy voice. Sirius looked at harry and he was surprised to see tears in his emerald eyes. "Harry i.." Sirius started but stopped as he was pulled into a tight embrace. Sirius smiled inwardly he was overwhelmed to see how much he mean to harry."i m sorry pup i.." Sirius was interrupted harry."u will win the trial and there's no chance that ur name wouldn't be cleared. I won't let that happen. And i will come no matter what u say" said harry with a playful smile. Sirius smiled back and nodded.
Remus came back home to see sirius sitting on the couch reading a book."so u r back have u enjoyed urself with tonks" said sirius smirking. Remus nodded smiling "where is harry by the way..sleeping?" He asked."ya" said sirius keeping down his book. "Did harry talked about his nightmare" said remus. Sirius paused for a minute confused why remus has randomly asked about it then shook his head and stared at him in confusion."well i think his nightmare had something to do with the scar as he was clutching his scar if u remember and if that's true then we should inform dumbledore about this. Its not something good" said remus in a worried voice. Sirius nodded but worry was etched on his face. They agreed on informing dumbledore if something like this happens again and both went to sleep.
