Harry boarded the knight bus. He was a bit worried about the consequences of blowing his aunt. "What was ur name by the way" asked stan the bus conductor. "Umm my name is...h..neville longbottom." He said the 1st name which flashed his mind bcoz he didn't wanted to take any risk. His attention was drawn by the front page of the daily prophet which had a photo of the mass murderer sirius black about whom Harry had seen on the muggle news channel also. Stan caught Harry's eyes and handed him the newspaper.
MASS MURDERER SIRIUS BLACK ESCAPED FROM AZKABAN
"He is a dangerous convict,had killed 13 people out of which 12 were muggles. The ministry is looking for him by the way" Stan told harry. Harry found that person mysteriously familiar but he ignored it as he was more worried about getting expelled.
He arrived at leaky cauldron. The minister of magic fudge was already there. He assured harry that he will not be expelled and his aunt was back to normal and her memory of this incident was removed. Harry sighed a relief. He thanked the minister. He suddenly was reminded of sirius black. He asked the minister about the same."we are looking for him and very soon he will be back in azkaban" the minister replied. Harry had to spend his remaining summer at that place only. He spent his time completing the homework and reading the books. He was a bit relaxed as he didn't had to worry about the dursleys. He had forgotten about snuffles. The 3rd year was about to begin. Students had started coming to diagon alley to buy their school supplies. Ron and hermione had also arrived there. He heard them downstair. He went down to meet them. He had missed them the whole summer. He was about to reach there when he was inside a tight embrace with hermione." It's so good to see u harry" said hermione still hugging him."it's good to see u too but i need to breath also" said harry laughing. "Oh..sorry" said hermione releasing him. Harry gave her an assuring smile." Hi ron how r u and what about the others" he asked ron." We all are fine mate what bout u". "I m good" replied harry with a shrug. "What happened to ur hand harry" asked hermione worriedly glancing at the cut on his hand. "Oh...that's nothing i just..it happened accidentally..don't worry about it..i m fine" said harry assuringly. Both ron and Hermione gave him a worried look which made harry uncomfortable." I said i m fine guys" harry said in a frustrated voice. "Ohk if u say so ...we were just worried mate" said ron placing a hand on Harry's shoulder. Harry was not liking the topic so he changed it immediately. "Have u two read about sirius black" asked harry. "I was going to talk to you about that only harry" he heard another man speaking. Mr.weasley was there."oh how r u by the way" he asked taking harry aside."i m fine..what were u going to talk about"asked harry."sirius black had escaped azkaban and he is a very dangerous man he is on the dark side and works for the dark lord so he might come after u and try to harm u so just promise me that u won't go after him or looking for him" said mr weasley with a tone of worry." Why would i go after looking for a man who wants to kill me" said harry in a matter of fact voice. Harry went to diagon ally with ron and hermione the next morning. Harry spents a great time there. He browses the many shops, admires the new Firebolt broom at Quality Quidditch Supplies, and spends the afternoons working on his homework, with free sundaes, at Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour. While buying school supplies, Harry is surprised that the book hagrid gave him for his birthday, The Monster Book of Monsters, is displayed in Flourish & Blotts. Checking his booklist, he sees it is required for his care of magical creatures class, which is a relief to Harry who was worried Hagrid wanted help with some new "pet". His already owning a copy is also a relief to the Flourish & Blotts clerk, as it is difficult to extract the aggressive tomes from their cage. While looking for his divination text, Harry sees Death Omens: What To Do When You Know The Worst Is Coming. Something similar to the large black dog was on the book cover. He stared at it "ur stupid cat is always after my poor scrabers" harry was jerked out of his thought by Ron's voice "no it's not and crookshanks is not stupid ur rat is stupid." He heard Hermione's voice. " here we go again" said harry with a sigh as he went downstairs.Harry was not entirely successful in convincing himself that it was not a death omen. But he just forgot about it for a while. The term was about to start in 2 days. He was enjoying the remaining days about his friends. He had not told them that sirius black was after him. He decided to tell them later. He was playing chess with ron while hermione was reading book."i m not playing anymore i lost 3 times in a row" said harry. "Yes i won again now i m just used to it" said ron with a smirk. Harry smiled at him. "Well isn't it a bit strange that so wise and brilliant Hermione granger also lose against me" said ron mockingly. Hermione glared at ron. "Why r u inviting trouble ron" said harry jokingly to ron. Ron just smiled at hermione.
