Harry went to dumbledoor's office. "Sir now u know that sirius is innocent and he deserves to live freely then why don't u ask the ministry for a fair trial.plz sir only with ur help this is possible." Said harry in a pleading voice."yes harry i know that sirius mean a lot to u so i will try my best. I will talk to the minister and i will inform u about this. Till then u should enjoy ur holidays." Said dumbledore in an assuring voice."thnku sir" saying this harry returned to the common room. ************************************ He went to the dursleys for his usual summer."so u r back freak" said Vernon as harry enters the house. Harry ignored him and went straight to his room. He sat on his bed and found a parchment kept on the table. He picked it up. It was a list of all the chores. He sighed and laid on the bed. He thought about living with sirius having a family having someone who cared for him. He smiled at the thought. He went downstairs and started doing his chores. He was as usual starved and was tied to the window grills as punishment for even smallest mistake. He spent the whole week like this. Then he got a letter from dumbledore which stated that minister agreed for the trial and it was after two weeks. Harry was more than happy. He wanted to meet sirius. He first decided to write a letter to sirius. He quickly took out his quill and parchment and started writing. I think i shouldn't refer to him as sirius or padfoot not yet. After thinking he continued writing. Dear snuffles I m doing alright and hope the same for u. There is a good news for all of us. I m so very happy to tell u that the minister has agreed to give u a fair trial. It just after two weeks. And i m very sure u will win the trial and be a free man. We will meet soon. Yours Harry quickly he put it in the envelope and sent it to sirius through hedwig. He was so eager to meet sirius. He decided to go to grimmauld place. He then sent a letter to remus about the same and remus wrote back to him that he should come and surprise sirius without telling him prior and remus will already be there waiting for him. Harry started packing his stuff. Meanwhile sirius was living in the grimmauld place alone. He had still not fully recovered from his past memories which still haunted him. He still blamed himself for lily and james. Sirius was sitting on the table with his face resting on his hands. He looked at the handkerchief which harry had tied on his wound.The only thought of harry brought a small smile on his face. It was the only thought which kept him sane. Suddenly there was a knock on the window. He saw hedwig with a letter. Harry has sent me letter sirius thought to himself. He quickly opened it and read it twice. He was more than happy. Not only for himself but for harry. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. He opened the door to find his best friend standing there smiling at him. Remus immediately pulled sirius into a brotherly hug. They pulled apart after a minute."it's just the approval for trial i have won it yet." Said sirius. "But u will" said remus sitting on the couch. "So how r u doing sirius" asked remus."i m doing good" said sirius with a smile. Remus sighed at the answer."U were blaming urself all the time and was grieving over the past weren't u" said remus reading sirius mind. Sirius nodded slightly."sirius i understand it hurts but u have to get over it and for godsake stop blaming urself it was never ur fault it was that stupid betrayer Peter" said remus spitting peter name as venom. Sirius gave a slight nod. "Move on sirius. Grieving over the past will not change anything and Look on the positive side harry is still alive he could have also died but he is alive and now u r his godfather. Harry is ur responsibility. U r given a chance to give harry a life he deserve." Said remus trying to convince sirius. Ya harry is the only reason that i m still sane. He is the last connection with james and lily. He is my godson. Thought sirius and immediately wiped his eyes."yes u r correct remus." Said sirius giving remus a smile. They talked for a while."Now it's late night and we should sleep now" said sirius going towards his room. Suddenly there was a knock on the door."who could be there this late at night" asked sirius suspiciously. Remus shrugged smiling inwards. As soon as Sirius opened the door harry engulfed sirius into a tight hug. Sirius was startled at first but when he realised it was harry he started grinning like mad and hugged him back."harry what r u doing here". Said sirius as they pulled apart."i wanted to meet u so i came here" said harry as he looked around to see remus. Sirius was still grinning."hi proff....remus its nice to meet u again" said harry."nice to meet u too Harry said remus ruffling Harry's hair."i will keep ur trunk in ur room" said sirius taking Harry's trunk in his room. "Have u had ur dinner" asked remus."um yeah i had" lied harry. "Then i think u should go to sleep for now we will talk tomorrow" said sirius. Harry nodded. "K night sirius" said harry going."night pup" said sirius. Harry smiled at the nickname and went to sleep
