Melody had heard of the news of evacuation.

She had just arrived and everything was already scary and complicated...

"Don't run off, I'll be back." Sans told her, teleporting off to help a few others.

Melody nodded, her heart in her throat.
Texas was never this chaotic..

She would admit, it was boring compared to this new world.

Meeting the Gameboy and Y/n on her first day was amazing too, but she felt as though something were off every time she was in Circuit Central.

Deciding to wander around a bit, she walked by one of the alleyways.

Something caught her eye.

It was a small break in the wall, glowing a mix of green and purple... Like the one under her eye.

Looking around, she entered the alley, curiously caught in her chest.

It looked like it was glitching from reality to a game.

You're new..

She flinched hearing a voice from the light, "He-hello?"

Hello there Melody..

"H-how do you know my name?"

The voice chuckled, unsettling the Player.

Do not be afraid.. I wish to help. I know you're very confused with everything.

How does it know..?!

Melody took a few steps back from the glitchy light, but questions kept her from running.

I know how to stop the problems... I can guide you.

"You can..?"

Mhm, You just need to help me first..

Her heart dropped, "But how?"

I've been just a mere speck in code for years... Perhaps if I could just-
No.. Nevermind

Curiosity for the idea the voice had ate her insides, "What? What is it?"

I do not wish to bother a new player without their commitment. The voice sighed, the light flashing every time it spoke.

Not wanting to seem weak or untrustworthy, Melody sat down besides the light, "I can be commited! I can help..!" She told it.

Hm... I don't know. It continued.

"Well why not?" She huffed

I don't think you would enjoy a voice in your head. The glitchy voice responded.

The Player paused.
"I- I could handle it." She stammered a bit, questioning her own ability.

Could you really?

Her eyes narrowed, "Definitely. "

You can help this thing out! That will be helpful as everyone is busy!

I don't think you can handle the truth about this world my dear.

"Yes I can! I'm from the real world, so I can handle whatever is here!" She told it, getting determined to prove it wrong.

... The real world hm? Interesting...
I suppose you can help me...

She nodded.

The Gameboy is the true culprit here, but that is all I can say for now...

WHAT?! But he seemed so nice!
"Really?!" She yelled in shock.

SHHH... Keep your voice down..

"Sorry.." she apologised, looking around.

Tell you what.. You seem smarter than everyone else.. You aren't corrupted by his lies yet. The voice said smoothly, entrancing her for a moment.

I am stuck in this form until I can share a phycial one..

"You can share mine  " Melody offered

Really? Are you sure?

"Mhm! It's the least I could do..!"

I thank you so much sweet Melody... Merely grab the light for me.

She stretched her hand out toward the glitchy light and was shocked for a moment, yelping.

The light had vanished and left the corner where it sat dark.

I am still here Melody...

She flinched for a moment as the voice appeared in her head.

Like this I can guide you toward the better future for greatness... Me and you in charge over the land besides those power-hungry Admins.

This unsettled her a bit.

Both had seemed friendly when Melody met them, but what if it had just been an act?

"Melody! Where ya at?" The shorter skeleton's voice sounded nearby.

"Over here Sans!" She called, running back to him.

Yes.. Just stick with me Melody. You'll be an amazing help.
