You looked around, the Player was nowhere to be seen.

Did she run? Why would she just leave me?

You prayed she was just hiding as you moved quickly from the plant.

Now that you stopped to think... She's been acting strange... She was with Sans when he snapped and the Plant awoke and attacked when she was with you..

You shook your head.

No. She wasn't there at the school, but what is doing it then..?

You had to tell Cosmo. You didn't have time to find Melody, but you hoped she was safe.

Melody stepped onto the teleporter, reappearing into the Secretary room, bit Isabelle was no where to be seen.

Good. No more trouble.

But where is she?

Most likely in that "Save place" where they're trapping them.

Her heart pounded in her throat as he spoke.
Was it really a trap?
The question rose in her chest like bile, threatening to cause her to throw up.

Focus Melody. This is important. Don't you DARE back out on me now. He hissed suddenly, the softness in his voice from earlier had vanished.

Shaking terribly, she walked into the office, hair no longer covering her eye and the doors opened.

The Gameboy turned, looking frantic, "Y/n I-" he paused seeing Melody and suddenly glared, "... Of course. Welcome back."

Melody was taken by surprise and opened her mouth to speak, but it wasn't her own voice...

A cackle emmited as she felt cold and disconnected to herself, but she saw her moving like nothing.

The purple eyes now bright green and chaotic, "Finally."

The Gameboy stood his ground.

Melody tried to yell at Glitch, but no sound emitted again from the mouth as if..

Of course not! You really think YOU were going to fight Cosmo?!

The voice was distorted, causing Melody to huddle as she looked through the eyes of her once former self.

Glitch exmained the body he had gained control of, eyes gleaming, "It's been so long since I had a form..."

" And it'll be your last!" The Leader yelled, a game controller in his hand that formed into a large sword that gleamed in the light of the code along the walls. Their normal green occasionally glitched to red.

Melody watched in horror as she began moving against her will.

Glitch-Melody walked along the walls, the grin still on her face as his voice emitted again, " You were a FOOL to believe I would have STAYED gone!"

Cosmo kept facing her brother's new form, a determined, yet uneasy look in his eyes.

"And to think... You could have just LISTENED TO ME AND NONE OF THIS HAD TO H̸̨͍̩͉̩̹͙̋͋̍̅̾̂̑ͅA̵̝͚̯̖̳̫̘̐̌̾͐P̴̙̅͌͆͆͊P̵̧̛̛͔̻͍̣̼̰̌́͑̊̓̌̒͘̚͠͠E̴̦͌͛̀̒̅̇͐Ṋ̸̨̛̺̘̮͚̤̭̠̞̻̩̳̇̓͂͗̈́̓̎̀̉̀͆͋͘"

Melody shook, alone in the mind of Glitch as he confronted Cosmo, his voice gleeful and enjoying every moment of this.

He snapped the slender fingers that had once been her own, a sword of his own appearing with ease.

"Once I'm done with you, I'll move on to EVERY PLAYER THAT STANDS IN MY WAY. NOBODY WILL STOP ME THIS TIME!"
