"Angels and Demon's all have soulmates. The issues would be that angels and demons can't be soulmates with one another. If an angel and demon ever become soulmates, different punishments will be decided. IMPORTANT: Both lovers would be able to see color." Emma read aloud during the car drive. The drive was hours long and the angel had nothing to do. The demon beside her drove at full speed. Emma was sure he ran at least two red lights, leading to several cars honking at once.
"Crowley, please make sure we arrive at the bookshop ALIVE." The angel commented after the red light incident. The demon was going 90 miles per hour in central London but lowered it at Emma's comment. The angel lifts her head up from the book, now looking up at the demon. "Why are you so jumpy?" The demon was taken by surprise. He didn't answer, but shook off the question. "Nothing, it's just your silly reading is a bit distracting." He harshly said. Emma's smile faded once Crowley rose his voice. "I'm sorry." She apologies. The angel distracts her mind from the blinding tears that formed. Emma simply placed her book back in her bag. "I was just finding a way to pass the time." She mumbled under her breath while glancing out the window.
The drive was silent after that. Crowley focused on driving and Emma watched passing street signs. Crowley normally never felt back about something he did, but after meeting Aziraphale and Emma; he started to feel bad after he said or did something rude. "I'm sorry for being rude. I didn't mean anything I said. It's just the subject matter that bothers me at times." The angels attention moves away from the passing signs and landing on the demon beside her. She never imagined him apologizing. So, yes she was a bit stunned. "Oh well, I apologize for bringing up the matter in the first place-" Emma started off. "Don't start with that...it will make me feel like a good person." Crowley interrupted her.
There was silence once more. Crowley focused on the room while Emma stared at the red-head. Questions started to form in her head and she wasn't ashamed to ask. "Why does the whole soulmate talk bother you?" The angel never took her eyes off the red-head. "I just feel like I will never find mine." He mumbled out. The car was at a stoplight now. The demons moved his hands from the stirring wheel for only a second. "Well, I bet you will find someone who fits your personality perfectly," Emma said. The sweet angel suddenly grabbed ahold of the demons hand, giving it a small squeeze. Crowley felt his heart skip a beat by the contact. He cleared his throat before moving his hand to the stirring wheel and driving off.
Soon enough, the pair arrived at the hotel. The only thing worrying the demons was if the suite Aziraphale booked was two bedded. The two strolled inside, held a two minute conversation with a receptionist before receiving their key. After that, both entered an elevator. The angel and demons didn't utter a word through their short trip on the lift.
The demon unlocked the suite door. His eyes took in the beautiful elegant room. Every looked just right and with his liking until his attention turned to the bed. 'THE BED! A SINGLE BED! UNO BED!' The demon screamed in his head. "I will take the chairs," Crowley suggested once glancing at Emma. By the relaxed expression on her feature, she didn't seem to have a problem with sharing a bed. "Nonsense! We both can share the bed. I can't allow you to have a stiff neck tomorrow." Emma explained. The demon couldn't say or do anything to get himself out of it.
Upon looking at the clock, Emma rushed into the bathroom. "We should probably get changed for dinner." She notified the demon while changing in the bathroom. Crowley only nodded her off and fell backward on the bed. His short nap was ruined once Emma slammed a pillow to his face. "Wake up, sleepyhead." Emma messes with the sleepy demon.
"Get ready or we'll be late." Crowley snapped out of his trance. He couldn't help but stare at her beautiful figure in that lovely green dress (not to mention it fit her in all the right places)
"Oooo." Emma moaned. Her plate was fully cleaned and her meal was in her tummy. The demon couldn't stop blushing upon hearing those sounds. (He tried to control himself) "so y-you look lovely." Crowley stuttered out. The angel only happily smiled. "I was wondering if you would like to walk around the park after dinner?" Crowley nervously asked. The angel noticed the red-heads hands twitching. She could tell he was nervous. "Well, of course. I always loved smelling beautiful flowers." She smiled.
The demons hoped that he could tell Emma how he really feels, but wasn't ready for the rejection part.
