A knock was heard on the door and a girl enters the room.
Jack thought she was beautiful, but couldn't help but to compare her to Zach.
Her walk was more shy and her eyes aren't as bright as his. Her hair is beautifully long, but Jack thinks the brunet's hair is better.
"Good afternoon Mr. Avery, I'm your new assistant, Gabriella Gonzalez and I'm here to help in everything I can." She says politely.
If it were Zach he would've got in the room, also politely, but he would sit down on the chair and say some sassy remark about how much he didn't want to be his assistant.
Jack quickly snaps out of it.
"Finally. I need you to do confirm my schedule for today and call all the companies I'm having meetings with to confirm the time, check all the presentations for grammar errors and typing errors, and-"
"Don't you think that's too much job for the two hours you're gonna make her be your personal assistant? Good morning by the way." Zach walks in with a smirk plastered on his face.
                              The woman was shocked.
"Speak when spoken to." Zach rolls his eyes and sits down on the chair.
"Yeah yeah, you need to get more comfortable chairs, my back is killing me."
"Are you gonna keep looking or start working?"
"Yes Mr. Avery." She walks out the door.
Zach sets his vanilla latte of the desk and starts taking out the computers.
"You do you think you are, coming in my office like that?"
"Looks like someone forgot to put sugar in your coffee today..." He shrugs with one of his smirks.
Jack opens his mouth to give him a snarky response, but instead another thing came out.
                              "Did you fix my computer?"
"I didn't, this is screwing my head up. My brain is going to break anytime soon..." He hands him two hundred dollars, the bill and the warranty of the gaming laptop.
"Here's the money and the computer that I, oh so kindly set up."  He turns the computer to him.
Jack looked at the username. asshole.
The curly head tried so hard to not smile.
"Last time. I check, my last name wasn't asshole."
"Oh bummer, it must've been the autocorrect...i mean, it's the same thing, but you do you I guess." He shrugs.
Again, Jack tries his hardest to not smile.
"You're such an asshole." Jack mutters.
"Oh wait, am I supposed to be scared of you? Let me just-"He fixes his tie and clears his throat.
"Oh my, M-Mr. A-Avery I'm so scared o-of you... and scene... I know, I should be an actor, don't need to clap."
Jack couldn't help it, he smiled.
"And when it seemed everything was lost, Zachary Dean Herron did it, he made Mr. stick up his ass smile."
                              Jack's smile turned bigger.
                              "I hate you so much."
"Is this the part where I fall hopelessly in love with you? Or is it more far ahead?"
"Depends, most girls just get in here unannounced claiming they are my true love."
"I guess...I'm NoT lIkE oThEr GiRlS." Zach wipes a fake tear.
"Yes, that's right, you're not like other girls because you're a dude."
Zach looks at him with a disappointed look on his face.
                              Zach leans against the desk.
"See that big ass glass door sweetheart? Why don't you do me a favor and check it out? hm, maybe even get out and stop living under a rock?" He says sweetly.
                              Jack rolls his eyes.
                              ***
Zach suddenly gets up and sighs frustrated.
                              Jack looks at him confused.
                              " God I need a snack. "
"What snack?"  Zach looks at him confused.
                              "I don't have all day."
                              "Something salty, like yours truly."
Jack opens a drawer from his desk and throws him a pack of doritos.
                              "What time?"
                              "Huh?"
"What time do you wanna marry me?"
                              "What?"
"Having doritos in a hidden drawer in your office is some husband material, so I ask again, what time do you wanna marry me?"
"In your dreams." Zach rolls his eyes and the package falls as a man walks in, looking at a paper.
He bends down to reach it and the man looks up and directly at his ass.
"Nice ass baby girl." He slaps it, harshly, I may add.
                              Zach's and Jack's eyes widen.
The brunet gets up and cleans himself.
It was the man's time to be frozen.
Zach turns to him, a murderous glare in his eyes.
"Who in the fuck do you think you are to come in here and slap my ass!?" Zach pushes him.
"Huh? You thought I was a girl and it makes it all better!? Was that it? What's happening? You can't talk now? What happened to nice ass baby girl? huh? You thought he'd laugh along, because it's funny harassing women? Well it's not. And it's not funny harassing men either." He pushes him with every question.
                              "I-"
"I swear to God dude, if we were in the streets, I would've slapped you so hard you'd crawl back into your mother's vagina, maybe then she'd decide to abort you." The man was looking at Zach terrified.
"Johnson, pack your things, you're fired...and if I hear a but, he'll sue you and I'll be the main witness."
                              "Yes Mr. Avery."
"Perfect." The man walks out, still terrified.
Zach fixes his shirt and sits back down on his chair.
"Your employees are assholes." Zach mutters and opens the doritos.
Jack nods, quite disturbed by the scene that just happened.
"Drop the face, I wasn't even that mad." Zach rolls his eyes.
"Doritos?" Zach offers him with a small smile.
Jack grabs a few and keeps working.
                              "Thank you." He mutters.
