Yvette Clancy - book 2 (Harry Potter / Voldemort's daughter fan fic)

Chapter 20

Yvette and Clarissa parted ways, Clarissa heading to her favourite for tranquillity, the library.

She sat herself down and pulled out a book on potions. Then one of Ella's friends, Zoe approached her. "Why did you do that to Ella?" She asked. "Do what?" Clarissa said back, playing dumb. "You were so rude to her and insulted her boyfriend!" Zoe said sounding very 'concerned'. "Ok, I'm sorry I wasn't aware I wasn't allowed an opinion," Clarissa said not looking up from her book. "You are you jut don't have to be rude about it," Zoe said. "Hey, as nice as this conversation is, her boyfriend bullied me last year, so I just thought I would let her know, now can you leave me to myself," Clarissa said. "He would never do that, Ella said so," Zoe said determined to get her way. "Well, I mean she's known him for two weeks and I've known him for a year so who are you going to believe?" Clarissa said, some of these Ravenclaws were very thick. "You just want him for yourself!" Zoe said. "I'm gay," Clarissa said getting up and walking out, conversation over. Zoe stood there for a second before realising,"Oh, you have a crush on Ella." Clarissa shook her head. "Congratulations you want a medal or something?" she said before walking down the corridor.

Yvette went and sat by the black lake, wanting to be alone. Obviously, Draco approached her as no one believed in privacy in this school. "Hey Yv," He said sitting down next to her. "Why do you always go out of your way to mess up my life?" Yvette asked determined not to acknowledge him. "You love it," He said kissing her on the cheek. "We shouldn't be doing this, I have a boyfriend," Yvette said turning away. "Since when has that stopped you," Draco said back. They then embraced lips pressed together until someone interrupted. "Seriously, I thought you and him were over?" no other than Theodore Nott said. "Uh, did I forget to mention that I don't care about you and want to break up with you," Yvette said pulling away from the kiss. "So you can snog Malfoy?" Theo questioned. "So i can show him what he's missing," Yvette said getting up and walking away.  Draco sniggered. "You wish Clancy!" he said before getting up himself.

Fred, George and Lee all noticed the depressed mood with the girls and just around the castle generally so decided there would be a 'friendly' quidditch match. "Okay, teams, me, Gred, Forge, Queen of Darkness, Mouse, Harry and Ron," Lee said. "Our team is me, Blaise, Theo, Crabbe, Goyle, Pansy and Millicent," Draco said. "Excuse me but I uh don't fly," Clarissa protested. "Neither do I but does that stop me?" Lee said. "I'm sorry but I don't want to and that's my final word," Clarissa said starting to walk away. Fred and George then grabbed her and placed her on the broom. "Let go of me you little-" Clarissa screamed before they pushed her in the air. Clarissa screamed. "Let me down please I'm going to fall to my death!" She shouted everyone on the ground pretending they couldn't hear, except the Slytherin who were laughing their heads off. Clarissa sat on the broom clinging for dear life. "Did I mention that flying is probably my second worst fear," Clarissa said. "Scared of a broomstick, Daniels?" Malfoy taunted. "No, scared of falling off a broomstick and dying," Clarissa said. Everyone had an incredibly amused expression on their face except Clarissa who then in rage shouted,"Okay, now that I'm up here can someone teach me how to get down please?" Yvette jumped on her broom. "So... you just kinda point it in the direction you wanna go," Yvette said. "I need someone with a brain to explain please," Clarissa said indicating that Lee explained. "Well, I guess you just kinda do what Yv said," Lee said. Clarissa sighed before trying the 'technique' demonstrated. She started slowly moving around an absolutely terrified expression on her face. Soon she slightly got the hang of it and the game began.

Keeper was Ron, Beaters Fred and George, Chasers Yvette, Clarissa and Lee and Seeker Harry. Keeper was Millicent, Beaters Crabbe and Goyle, Chasers Blaise, Pansy and Theo and Seeker Draco.

All the Slytherins had nimbus 2001, Harry his 2000, Yvette also a 2001 (christmas present from her aunt) whereas the Weasleys had Cleensweep and Clarissa and Lee had a spare broom from the cupboard.

Let the game begin.

Yvette seised the Quaffle dodging past Blaise and chucked it into the hoop scoring Gryfindor 10 points. Clarissa was aimlessly flying around crashing into the Slytherin players on 'accident'. distracting them from the game. Yvette looked at Clarissa before saying,"as amusing as it is seeing you crash into people help me here Mouse Lee is pretty terrible." Lee glared at them. Yvettte passed Clarissa the Quaffle who flew in-between the Slytherins and scored easily making Yvette smile. Fred and George took the moment to wack the Bludger at Goyle which hit him in the face. The game was going well for the Gryffindors.

However, Blaise seized the Quaffle and with great speed started zipping through players startling Ron meaning Slytherin got a score. It was 30:10 to the Gryffindors. Clarissa then got the Quaffle and started zigzagging in-between everyone. Then Blaise bumped into her causing Clarissa to wobble and drop the Quaffle much to her dismay which then Pansy caught it. She stood still for a second not really sure what to do with it. But a second later Yvette had grabbed it from her hands and had scored! Draco groaned and flew over to Pansy whacking her with Crabbe's bat. Yvette chuckled "you snooze you loose," she said.  While Draco was distracted whacking Pansy Harry found the snitch and caught it. Ending the game 190:10. Gryffindor won Yvette started doing her celebratory dance and Clarissa immediately jumped off her broom and sprinted into the changing rooms. Yvette, as usual fell off and George caught her "one of these days there isn't going to be anyone to catch you," he said chuckling placing her on the ground. "We'll cross that bridge when we come to it," Yvette said following Clarissa into the changing rooms, some moods had been improved, Clarissa had sort of conquered her fear so all in all it was a good day.

WhOoOoOoOooooOoOooOoooo chapter 20 people, so this was kinda a filler chapter, but my fear of brooms is real okay. I know brooms don't exist but I'm scared basically riding anything like a donkey or horse for example (it also doesn't help that I'm probably allergic to horses). So yeah I am kinda stuck for ideas so please give me ideas people we still have at least ten more chapters to go so I need some inspiration.
