Cheese and Crackers!!

Alexa and the rest of the gang were back and had joined us for lunch. A waitress took our plates away and everyone said thank you to the waitress. Except for Abby.

"Abby, why didn't you say thank you to the waitress?" Steve asked. Abby looked at him and I knew in an instant....... She was going to go on one of her rants.

"Steve, they get PAID to take our plates away. We don't get PAID to say thank you!!!!" She said. For the next ten minutes I laughed my head off with The Avengers as she went on her rant about plates. By the end of it, Steve looked like a muscular lost puppy.

"Abby, are you free tonight?" Clint asked.

"Sweetheart, I'm always free." She replied. As the two began talking, I saw Alexa take Steve into one of the hallways.

Alexa's POV
Steve and I walked into the hallway near the diner and I turned to him and sighed.

"So, um, we did have.... You know." I said. Steve blushed and I giggled. He was too cute.

"Yes, yes we did." He said.

"So, does that make us a couple? Cause, if you don't want to be one that's perfectly fine with me. You know, you're an Avenger, and you have blonde hair, and blue eyes, and a sweet personality, and I'm rambling now. Sorry-" I was cut off by Steve's lips on mine. I was shocked, but for gods sakes I was being kissed by Captain America!!

"I'm sorry that, uh, that was sudden. But, would you like to go out with me on Saturday?" He said while leaving an awkward silence in the air.

"Yes!! That would be great.... Except, Ellie's audition is Saturday and I was going to try out for Mrs. Hannigan." I said. He looked disappointed, "But, I'm free this Sunday if you want." I finished. He smiled and agreed.

"That would be great!" He said. I'm going on a date with Captain America.

"Mr. Stark, I am your biggest fan!!!" Jordan screamed. I began laughing silently as she begged him for an autograph and he stared at her like she was nuts. I looked over at Bucky and smiled at him. He smiled back and then gestured towards the hallway. I nodded my head and followed him out. On the way, Alexa and Steve came out. Alexa turned to me and whispered 'Meow' in my ear. I smiled and followed Bucky into the hallway.

"I just wanted to say that I am so sorry for the way I acted earlier today. I had accidentally gone into Winter Soldier mode and, um, I'm just so sorry." He said.

"It's alright. I understand. That can happen at times, and I just wish that I was there to help you through it." I said. I looked back at the table and saw Maddy staring at Bruce Banner, Jordan laughing awkwardly with Stark, and all the while Abby was flinging lettuce at everyone.

"You know, we could go to the music room and have a therapy session if you want?" I asked. He looked at me and smiled.

"That'd be nice."

I sat down next to Bucky on the piano seat.

"Close your eyes." I said. He did and I began playing a slow, soft tune. "What are you thinking of?" I asked.

"The way my life was before the war." He replied.

"Tell me about it." I said as I continued to play the tune.

"I was good with the ladies. It would always be a double date with Steve, but half the time he would get up and leave. I'd be stuck with both girls and then, well, you know." He said. I smiled slightly and blushed. I sped up the tune and made it more darker.

"What about now?" I asked. He sighed.

"The memory I had when I hurt you." He said, "I was being frozen and when I had awoken, I, I-" He stopped, "I couldn't remember anything and then I killed innocent people. I-" He stood up. I stopped playing.

"You what?" I asked. He looked frozen.

"I killed Howard Stark." I walked over to him and grabbed his hand.

"Hey, it's ok.. Are you sure?" I asked.

"Positive. Hydra, They wiped my head of all my memories and then they gave me an assignment. Howard figured out that Hydra infiltrated SHIELD and he was going to make it public, but..." He said. I looked down at the ground and felt Bucky tense. I looked up and saw Tony had heard our entire conversation. He had my phone in his hands and I assume he was going to return it to me.

"Cheese and crackers!" I said. They both turned to me.

"Did you really kill my father?" Tony asked. Bucky's lips quivered.

"Y-yes." Bucky said. He ran out of the room and I tried to follow, but Tony grabbed my arm.

"Let him go." Tony said as he sat on the ground and put his head in his hands.

"Are you alright?" I asked. He shook his head.

"I could've had a family of it wasn't for him." Tony said. I looked around. "Give me sec, ok?" I nodded my head and I walked out of the music room and back to the kitchen in the common room. I took out a tub of ice cream and a spoon, and began eating it.

"Hey Ellie, what's wrong?" Maddy asked as she walked in.

"Ughh, I just, um, I can't even explain it really." I said, "And how did you know something was wrong?" I asked.

"You eat ice cream out of it's container when you're sad." She stated. I nodded. "If you need anything, I'll be right here." She said. I said thanks and continued eating. Before she left, Bruce Banner walked in and began grabbing some snacks. He said hello. Maddy began blushing and smiling, and she eventually walked away. Someone had a crush. Banner soon left and Alexa and Steve walked in holding hands. They were intently staring at each other and didn't even acknowledge my presence. I couldn't blame them. Love was a very strong feeling. (Even though they met yesterday *raises eyebrow*) Jordan was awkwardly laughing with Thor, which caused him to say 'Oh, fair maiden!' Abby and Clint could be heard up in the vents laughing. Love was literally in the air, or vents in this case. Unfortunately, I was the only one in the tower having relationship issues.
