I needed to get out of the house. My worries were starting to get to me, and I don't think I would survive another day of unpacking. I pulled on my swimsuit and walked out, I decided to take a shortcut. I crawled down some rocks reaching the beach in half the time it would have taken me to go around. I jumped into the cool water without hesitation, my tail appearing moments later. I swam as far out to sea as I was comfortable with, then dove down into the depths of the water. I grinned as I went down, realizing how much I had missed swimming. Do you ever get the feeling you're being watched? When the hair on the back of your neck stands up straight? That's the feeling I got as I swam. I stopped and began looking around, for any signs of life. I saw nothing. Then I looked down, and through the dark blue waters, I could see someone watching me. I screamed.
