Iris's POV
I need to talk to Alex. It's been a few days since my father came home. I want to know why Alex abandoned me when the shark was chasing me. I pulled out my phone and pressed Neo's contact.
"Hellooo?" He said.
"I need your help." I told him.
"Good timing, I was just on my way over."
"Meet me on the beach." And on that note I hung up. I didn't bother with a swimsuit, my clothes wouldn't get wet. I walked out of my room to see Lily and my Dad watch Frozen 2.
"Where you going, Kiddo?" Dad asked.
"To the beach, I'm hanging with Neo." I told him.
"Alright kiddo, but be back for dinner."
"Alright, Dad." I smiled and both him and Lily a kiss on the cheek, and walked to the beach.
Neo somehow beat me there, but it didn't really matter to me.
"Alright. Before you kill me, I'm going to go get Alex." I told him quickly.
"What?! Why?! He's been nothing but untrustworthy, and a coward!" He exclaimed.
"That's why we need to talk. We need to know what happened."
"But I wanna come with you. I don't want to just be on the walkies." Neo complained.
"That's why he's coming here, you dummy. I have to go get him first." I said.
"I'm already here. If anything you're a dummy." Alex's voice came from the water. Neo charged at Alex, full force. The two fought for a bit, before I intervened.
"Both of you are idiots." I told them. "Now, let's try and do this peacefully. Alex, what happened to you, the night that I was chased by the shark?"
"My grandmother pulled me under the water then took me home." He muttered. "Trust me, I didn't want to, I wanted to help, but she wouldn't let me!"
"Listen, I will forgive, but I won't forget. Pull something like that again, and it won't just be Neo trying to kill you." I told him. "Neo, what do you say?"
"I forgive you. But I don't trust you." Neo glared at Alex.
"I'll take it." Alex smiled. "Quick question, would you be willing to help me back into the ocean? I seem to have beached myself." We all laughed, and Neo and I helped Alex into the ocean. "Thanks guys, could we hang out soon?" Alex asked.
"Sure thing Alex." I smiled.
