IVORY'S POV

I was currently sitting on the couch while Mason, Carter, and the two other men talked. Mason had not explained to me what an Alpha, Luna, Mate, or pack is yet but he said he would soon. Every time I tried to walk out of the room I was always caught and forced to sit back on the couch. 20 minutes have passed and I'm ready to blow. So many things are happening so fast it's stressing me out like no other. Slowly I slid off the couch and started to crawl to the hallway. I was halfway and nobody had noticed yet. New record!! One more foot and I'll be free.

"Ivory" I stopped frozen. I sat on my butt and slowly turned around to see Mason.

"That is what people call me. Among many other things." I whispered the last part.

Mason sighed. "What are you doing?"

"Noooooothing."

"Ya uhuh, sure doesn't look that way." He rose an eyebrow with an amused look.

"Why do I have to stay here?" I whined.

"Because it seems like every time you're alone, something bad happens." Carter added.

"Noooo, the first time Zoey attacked Mason and Sara were there. And that Light thingy both you and Mason were there."

"You're still not leaving my sight." Mason turned back towards the other two guys and I grabbed the closest pillow and threw it at him. It hit him right in the face and the others busted out laughing.

"Did you just throw that?" Mason asked as he pointed at the pillow that was now on the floor.

"Nope. Casper threw it."

"Ivory." Mason said with a playful warning tone. That's when I stood up and bolted up the stairs as fast as my little legs would carry me. I could hear feet pounding after me but I had already gotten a head start and I made it to my bedroom, closed the door, and locked it before they caught up with me.

"Ivory open the door." Mason pounded.

"Not until you explain." I have learned I can be very stubborn at times.

"Explain what?"

"Why your holding me here like a hostage. Like my parents did. I didn't leave my parents' house to get locked up at a different house."

It was completely silent on the other side.

After a couple of seconds Mason finally talked. "Well I wasn't the one who locked you in the room, that was your own doing."

Oh boy, wrong answer. It took him that long to think of a stupid answer, I don't wanna know how long it would take him to think of a smart answer. If he could think of one that is. I didn't answer him back. Instead, I went over to the fireplace and tried starting a fire. Time for the silent treatment. I've never actually given one cause my parents never really cared but, I'm going to try. I lit a match as the silent treatment began

"Ivory?" He knocked again. "Sweetie please let me in."

Ugh, why is this so hard. He sounds so hurt. Wait, why would he sound so hurt? Does he actually care about me? That's impossible, I've only talked to him for a day or two now

"Ivory please." He begged. I bit my lip, closed my eyes and turned my head away from the door.

"OW!" I yelled as I dropped the match. I hurried and stomped on it to put it out. Well crap, totally forgot I had a match in my hand.

"Ivory what happened?" His voice was thick with worry. I opened my mouth to reply but quickly shut it, remembering about the silent treatment. I heard the lock turning and I quickly realized he probably had a key. He burst through the door and saw me stomping on the match.
