CARTER'S POV

I woke up in an empty room. I was sitting in chair that was in the middle of the room. My ankles were tied to the front legs of the chair and my hands were tied behind my back and the back of the chair. Straight in front of me was a door with a light on either side of the door. One light was on each of the other three walls. Nobody was insight. My head was throbbing so hard that I thought that it might burst.

The door swung open and slammed against the wall. "Wow don't make so much noise maggot." I said through clenched teeth.

"Watch your mouth Carter." It was a women's voice. I looked up and man was she gorgeous or what. She had black hair that went to the middle of her upper arms and were in the perfect waves. Her eyes were so unusual. No way, were they purple? That was AWESOME. Had to be contacts, no way they were real.

"Ok, where is she?" Purple eyed girl asked.

"Who?"

"Your sister genius."

"I don't have a sister pinhead."

"Of course you do. You're a twin."

I was completely and utterly confused. I had no twin. No less a sister. This girl here obviously had the wrong person or something. She just sighed and rolled her eyes.

"You do have a twin sister whether you know it or not. I will make you find her for me. We need both of you for our plan to work." She left the room slamming the door on her way out. I am lucky enough that my dad had taught me how to get out of this. We both used to spar with each other every day. He taught me how to fight because he saw people coming into his hospital that didn't know how to fight and how mangled they were because of it. Him and my mom were always worried that one day it could be me so they started training me at an early age.

Thirty minutes later I had gotten my hands untied. I quickly untied my ankles and ran to the door. With my luck, the door was locked from the other side. I had to wait until someone else came through the door. Well this just plain sucks. I waited 10 minutes before I heard light footsteps coming my direction. It's go time. I hurried and grabbed the chair that I had been tied to. The door swung open and the second the person walked into the room I swung the chair and connected right with the head.

Before I ran out I looked to see who I had hit. It was the same girl that was there earlier. Hmm, guess she thought I was so cute she had to come back to see more. I ran down the hallway and stopped at another door. Wow, these people sucked at security, the door opened without any problem. Oh sucktastic, it was another hallway. A little bit down the hall was a door to the right. I took a little look in and realized that it was just an office.

I looked around to make sure no one was around me or in the office before I opened the door. I found a pile of folders that said confidential. I grabbed them and quickly started scanning them. I kept seeing things about paranormals and they looked very important. Such as medical records, where they lived as well as a bunch of random facts like their favorite place to hang out and favorite food. I stopped looking through the pages when I came across a paper with my name on it. These people had to have been following me for more than just a couple hours to have all this information on me. How could I have only noticed today that I was being followed.

This was really creeping me out. I gathered them up and took them with me as I headed out of the office. If they took me after gathering this information, who knows what they'll do to the others. Maybe I could stall them if they didn't have these files and keep these other people safe. I kept running down the hall and ran into another fantastic door. This time when I opened the door it led into the oh so lovely outside, finally! But sadly in the middle of the woods. I prayed that some town was nearby.

It has been three hours of lovely walking through these magnificent woods. Hint: sarcasm. I was extremely tired and my feet had gone numb over an hour ago. If I didn't hit a town soon I was going to blow a cap. I closed my eyes as I continued walking. When all of the sudden something caught on my foot and I pitched forward. I threw my hands in front of me and was barely able to catch myself before I fell. All of the files flew everywhere. Well, that's the last time I walk with my eyes closed. I felt a sharp pain in my hand. When I looked at it I noticed a big gash with blood coming out. Ripping off a piece of my shirt I wrapped it tightly around my hand to hopefully stop or at least slow the bleeding. Having doctors for parents is really starting to pay off. When I get home I'm going to have to thank them for teaching me all this stuff. I laid back down on the ground for a more couple minutes. My feet and legs really needed a break after all the walking I had been doing.

I got back up and gathered all of the papers before I continued walking again. It was after a couple minutes when I faintly heard what sounded like laughing. When I heard that faint laughing I broke out into a sprint. Soon I will be home and be able to shower because man I smell.
