Chapter 12 - We have to find them before....

CARTER'S POV

"UGH!!" Mason came into the room slamming the door.

"What got your panty hose in a twist?" I chuckled at him.

"Ivory is giving me the silent treatment." He slammed his elbows on the counter as he buried his head in his hands.

I just laughed. "Dude, hate to be an ass hole, but you are treating her like a prisoner."

"I'm just trying to protect her Carter. She doesn't understand how dangerous my past can be. I'm an Alpha for crying out loud. Everybody that's not in our pack wants me dead so they can take over."

"Then explain that to her Mason. How can she understand if you won't tell her anything?" I said raising one of my eyebrows.

"I hate it when you're right." He sighed.

"When are you going to learn, I'm always right."

"You are too weird for me sometimes." He shook his head with a light smile.

"Suck it princess you're stuck with me whether you like it or not."

"Oh, I feel so special." He put his hand over his heart and gave me a puppy love look. We both laughed as we spent the next little while cleaning up the kitchen to the girls failed attempt at making cookies. We were almost done when Jon came in the room.

"Hey Jon, what's up?" Mason questioned.

"The girls are wanting to go out."

"Ya sure, if we go with them."

"Yaaaa I don't think that's an option."

"Mason, Jon."

"Yes." They answered simultaneously.

"You know they're already gone, right?"

"What??!!" They yelled. I jumped a little bit.

"I have spent quite a bit of time with Jamie and a little time with Ivory but in the little time I've gotten to talk to Ivory she knows how to get around stuff. Did you leave them alone Jon?"

"Yeeeessssss." He exaggerated.

"Then they took advantage of that."

"Jonathan!" Mason didn't yell it but you could hear the power in his voice.

"What? You probably would've done the same thing."

"I know but still." Mason started rubbing his temples. "But we've got to find them before any of our enemies realize we have a Luna and the Luna and the Beta female are out doing God knows what without us or even any protection."

"I'll go call your best trackers and warriors." I said getting off the stool I was sitting at.

"Ok. Jon, you try mind linking Jamie and if that doesn't work, blow up her phone with text messages and you keep calling her until we are with them. I'm going to go search Ivory's room for any indication of where they could've gone to."

"Aaaaaaaaand break." I said over dramatically as I pulled out my phone and started making calls.

Within five minutes I had three of the best trackers and eight of the best warriors in Mason's pack waiting outside in Mason's backyard for instructions.

"Hey Mason, are they allowed to know that they have a Luna?" I asked before I went outside.

"Ya they deserve to know who they're searching for." He handed me two shirts. One Jamie had worn earlier that day and one Ivory had worn earlier today. I stepped outside and everybody's attention was on me.

"I have some good news and some bad news. Good news, Mason has found his mate so you now have a Luna." They all started to hoot and holler while they clapped. "But before you tell anybody you should know the bad news. Her and Mason had a pretty good fight and her and Jamie left the house before telling us were they were going and without protection. We need to find them before panic arises within the pack. This green jacket is Jamie's and this brown shirt is your Luna's. If you cross paths with an enemy don't attack unless they're either attacking you, the Luna, or the Beta female." I tossed the clothing to the trackers and turned to go in the house.

"Carter wait." I turned back around and saw who was talking to me. "What's the Luna's name and what does she look like in case we see her."

"Her name is Ivory. She has very long, straight red hair. Her eyes are a beautiful blue and she's around 5'4. Very skinny and very beautiful. Can't miss her." And with that they ran off to go find them as I went back inside. "Any luck Jon?" I asked.

"For a little bit. Jamie let me in but I pissed her off and she shut me out again and I hardly doubt I'm getting back in anytime soon."

"To quote Mason, blow up her phone. Speaking of Mason, where is he?"

"Calling local shops who know Jamie seeing if they've seen her." I left Jon in the kitchen and went to find Mason. I found him pacing back and forth in the living room.

"It's all right thank you. Please call if you see them though. Thank you."

He slumped onto the couch with a big sigh. "They are nowhere to be found Carter. I can't lose her." He buried his face in his hands once again.

"Just give her time to cool off and she'll come back. In the meantime, you have your best trackers, your best warriors, everybody that you know who owns a shop within fifty miles all on the lookout for her. Now it's the waiting game."

"I hate the waiting game." I sighed as he gave me a painful look.

"I know me too."

~ 2 1/2 hours later ~

Mason, Jon, and I had all the phones in the house on the table in the living room as we stared intently at them.

"I can't take it anymore, I'm gonna try calling Jamie again." Jon said as he picked up his cell phone. "Oh, thank goodness you answered the phone." with that sentence mine and Mason's head snapped to Jon with anticipation and hope. "Jamie won't answer anybody in the mind link and everybody is freaking out that we can't find you two. Please tell us where you are."

"What's she saying Jon?" Mason said quickly. Jon held up a finger as he listened intently.

"Which club? We're coming to get you." Jon continued. "Alright I know where that is. We'll be there soon. Me and Mason. I won't I promise. Thank you so much Luna. We'll be there soon."

"Will you tell me now?"

"Ya there at the club called "The Drop"."

"Alright let's go. Carter can you stay here and start calling everybody and tell them that we found them?" Mason pleaded.

"Of course. Bring her back."

"There's no doubt about that." Mason confidently said. Mason and Jon left as I started with the calls. Hopefully they're ok.
