Arabella's POV
I grabbed my watch from my vanity table before getting out of my bedroom. I knocked on Marissa's door to wake her up.
"Mary." I called out. Minutes later she opened her door and picked her head out with her dishevelled hair.
" I'm going and be there by 11." I said to her clasping my watch's lock.
"Okay sis." my sister said in a sleepy voice. I walked back toward the living room when my sister stopped me.
"Take your car!" she yelled from her room.
"What about you?" I asked back loudly
"I'll walk. My legs need some walking." she yelled back shutting her door.
"Okay then." I muttered getting out of the house shutting the door behind me. I went inside of the elevator. I checked out my outfit inside the car. I was wearing a white turtleneck long sleeved blouse with black and white printed skirt. My hair was pulled back in a ponytail and my makeup was neutral except for the red lipstick.
Soon I was in the garage sitting inside my Audi ready to drive it after a very long time. I ignited the engine and it purred into life.
After reaching the office I killed the engine and headed inside.
"Good morning Lilly!" I greeted the birthday girl.
" Good morning! " she greeted me back with her wide smile. I went inside Theo's office not before discarding my bag on my desk. Instead of finding Theo alone in his room I found Max keeping him company.
" Good morning guys!" I greated entering the room.
"Morning Ella." came both of their reply.
"Did you organised everything?" I asked standing right behind Max.
"Yes everything is done now we need to put the party together." Theo said leaning forward his table.
"My sister wants to join." I said to them sitting on the chair.
"Of course Ella! The more the merrier." Max exclaimed with a big smile. His smile made me smile in return.
"What about her family?" Theo asked tracing his lips with the covered tip of his pen.
"Her family knows. I've talked to her mother and sister. They are not spilling any beans till the celebration." I reassured Theo.
"Oh I can't wait to see her face." Max said rubbing his hands together.
I laughed at Max. That dude is really funny.
"Let's get to work before anyone can have any doubts." I said patting Max's shoulder. Max stood up a moment later and went out of the room after saying, " See you later guys."
