( ALERT: I tried my best to make this upcoming wedding seem as natural as possible. I might mix things up a little bit with out my proper knowledge but I hold no intention to hurt anyone's culture or religion. If I even do then I'm extremely sorry. It was purely unintentional.)
Arabella's POV
•One Year Later•
I looked at the dress, the white big wedding dress, hanging on the wall in this room. Correction my changing room. The day had finally came, my wedding day. After staying engaged to Alexander for like half a year, we finally decided to get married.
I looked down at my engagement ring which Alexander gave me. A very antique gold halo ring, with a beautiful little emerald cut diamond in the middle and with many other diamonds surrounding it and lining on the gold band. I ran the pad of my thumb over the diamond before taking it off my left ring finger and inserting it on my right, letting my left hand bear for the wedding band.
"Let's get you ready." My sister, Marissa or should I say Mrs. King said, leaning her head on my silk robe cladded shoulder. She got married six months after my accident. And right after her marriage I got engaged to Alexander.
"Yes." I said feeling the knots in my stomach forming. Not just I was only tensed; I was hell of a nervous. I mean who wouldn't be nervous on their wedding day? I just want to bolt out of this place, but at the same time want to get married to Alexander.
Before I could have any other crazy thought in my head my sister dragged me inside a curtain covered area for me to wear the dress. She took the dress off the hanger and thrust it to my direction.
"Now off you go and get ready." She said making a shooing motion with her hand before getting out of this secluded area and closing the curtains behind her. I chuckled slightly shaking my head at my sister. I hold up the dress in front of me and sighed, thinking about how much big it was.
Though the dress was big but it was light-weighted. Lace work adorned the whole gown from the long sleeves to the long trailing cape attached on the back. This dress has a beautiful worked bodice and a large skirt attached to the dress in the waist. My hair was straightened hanging till my back, and my makeup was glamorous with brown smoky eyes and nude lips. I looked at the large mirror in front of me checking me out. I wanted to keep everything neutral in my own wedding but I failed a big time there. This was loud from my makeup to my dress... but I feel beautiful in this. I feel so ready.
