I slowly opened my eyes to check the clock, it was already morning as I could see from sun's unstoppable brighting. I slept well in fact, after yesterday, kinda failed, Thanksgiving it was unexcepted. I had a shower and headed to search for Frank. I thought he's still sleeping, but I found him sitting on bed and messing with something in his hands. "You got a watch?" I asked as he noticed my appearence. "It's 7:20" I said, coming closer. "I didn't ask you the time. I asked if you had a watch" he repeated. "Yeah, in the other room" I mumbled. "Get it" he ordered. "Colonel, there's a clock right next to your bed" I informed, being little confused. "So I'm Colonel again...Does it have a second hand?" he asked, what made me not to think about first words of his.

"Yeah" I nodded. "Time me!" he ordered. "How long?" I asked, taking these. "About 30 seconds, I'm rusty" he answered and I widen my eyes to see he was actually holding a weapon, putting it together! "Where did you get a gun, Colonel?" I gasped. "Piece or weapon, Lottie, never gun" he corrected me. "Where did you get the piece then?" I asked in shock. "I'm an officer in the US Army. This is my sidearm!" he replied, little annoyed. "But you're not an officer anymore" I added. "So I'm retired, so what?" he frowned "An officer never relinquishes his 45."

"You better relinquish it to me or I'm gonna have to call Mrs. Rossi" I said, because of my complete worry about him. I was actually scared he might would get hurt, if someone stole it from him or anything. "Good idea. And then you're going back to school, huh?" he sadly chuckled. Pause. I wasn't actually dedicated about my answer. "With all pleasure and need I most likely would...but something in me tell me to stay" I muttered. "Something in you? Yesterday you called me Frank and was all: Please, Frank, please. Too much care, I didn't felt in ages and even standing by me...now, if I gave you ticket you would be on your way immediately. What's that?" he sighed.

"It's conscience" I replied, not happy about this answer in the end. It was actually all care about him, but I was too uncertain admit it. "You have a conscience. I forgot. The Lottie Conscience. Do we tell? Do we not tell?" he started with his pushing questions "Do we follow the rich boy's code or not? Do we let this blind asshole die or not?" I shooked my head about it "I won't listen to this!" He sadly smiled "Yeah. Conscience, Lottie. When were you born, dear? Around the time of the Round Table? Haven't you heard? Conscience is dead." I muttered "No, I haven't heard."

"Then grow up! Become a woman!" he shouted at me. "Maybe you should try live the way I do! And realize how hard everything is! Become a woman? How can I become a woman, when I'm barely a girl, who is good enough for this screwed up world!" I yelled back, quickly putting arm on my mouth, when I realized how loud I turned out to be. "I'm sorry, Colonel. You yourself know the darkness of society, just not from my view" I apologized "I didn't mean to yell, but I just can't do this anymore. I'm not good assistant to you, I only bring you pressure. I really should go, before I ruin something else."
