Ashi:
The room was filled with small whispers lingering in the air. Beige walls surrounds the room, modern ornaments hanged on the plain beige wall. There was a long table filled with scattered papers, laptops, as well as cups. The swivel chairs, customize to fit in the theme of the room.
Ashi stared at the beige wall surrounding them, brow slightly furrowed. Sumandal ako sa sa upuan, before closing my eyes.It was silent enough to either calm me down, or let the dark thoughts swirl in my head again. For the past days, I felt bothered- uneasy even.
Everything swirled in my head, a cold feeling made me feel on the edge. It made me feel suffocated in my own body.
Bumuntong hininga ako before closing my eyelids. Darkness consumed my system when I closed my eyes. My mind drifted to what happened last wednesday.
Three days ago, there were drama in regards of love. Adrenaline was pumping in my veins, worry consumed me. Second chances filled my thoughts; as I question my own beliefs regarding those that needs to be given another chance.
Three days ago was like a stroke of a brush in a magnificent painting. One stroke that would forever held a deep meaning in a whole art work. One stroke from finishing, and getting closer to a great outcome.
Time flew by, everything went back to normal. Three days ago must be long forgotten. But, the call I made three days ago lingered in my system.
The call would always pass by my mind giving an uncertain feeling.
I let out a small sigh. Flexing my hand before clenching my fist, my mind drifted to the call. Every word lingered in my head, every word echoed in my mind like a broken record.
"I wish not. I want you to kill me; if you could ever find me." they said before sighing. "Anyways, I have a question for you."
"Do you believe that a dead person can live?" they asked gidily.
"No." I sternly answered.
"Well better believe it."
I clenched my jaw, feeling frustrated.
Hindi ko maintindihan. Well better believe it? What does he mean by that? What is he trying to tell??He's words cut deep on my heart. I am confuse anf frustrated. I understand what he's trying to say yet it irks my system, because I know, there's a deeper meaning to it.
Nasakalagitnaan ako nang pagiisip when I heard the door slid open. I slowly fluttered my eyes open, head craning on the doors direction. My body jolted up from the seat when I saw her.
Leixandra Olayvar, a dear friend of mine as well as a great benefactor in the organization.
Mas bata siya sa akin ng isang taon. I met her before, and I will say na sobrang taray niya. Naliligaw siya sa mall that time so I talked to her pero tinarayan lang ako.
We talked for hours. Kinulit ko siya and promise that we'll buy ice cream and it worked. Slowly, her exterior broke and she started to talk more, or show different signs of emotions other than her pagtataray.
Sa paguusap namin ay nalaman ko na nalulugi ang kumpanya nila. Kaya after that encounter I asked if she has any social media or phone number. I asked hers, and then we clicked.
Nang dahil don ay mas lalo akong napalapit sa kaniya. Our friendship bloomed and I talked to my squad about this before I offered help with their company. She declined first but I was persistent kaya sa parents na niya ako dumeretso hahahaha.
