Chapter 19: Home at last

After a few days of being on Themycira, Percy wanted to go home. Her body was still sore from the training the day before. Percy zeta beamed to metropolis. The portal was a couple of miles away from her home.

As Percy walked home, she felt someone watching her. Following her in fact. She looked behind her to see it was Poseidon and Zeus. Percy's face turned sour when she fully face the two deities.

"Why are you two following me?" Percy asked her father and uncle while crossing her arms

There was a fire in her eyes. That indicated that Percy was mad.

"We were just making sure you got home safely." Zeus said with his brother nodding right next to him

"This is not Gotham. There's a lot less crime here. Hell, there is barely any crime here." Percy said using her arms for emphasis

"We don't care." Poseidon said standing his ground

"I'm a well trained Warrior. I can take care of myself." Percy said

"What if we wanted to spend some time with you?" Zeus asked

Percy's eyes held questions in them. But the fire was still there.

"I have to agree with Zeus on this one. You have been spending so much time studying and training." Poseidon said

It was rare that Poseidon and Zeus agreed on anything.

"Then you two can walk WITH me not behind me. Got it?" Percy said

The two gods nodded. They didn't want to face the wrath of an angry Amazon. Last time that happened, they had angered Dianna. Apollo was the only one that was not at the meeting, so he was not injured by her. And the rest of the council who was there had been put into the infirmary then treated by Apollo.

Percy looped her arms into their arms. Poseidon knew his daughter was a very tactile person. That's was one reason why she wanted to make things like clothes and the demigod glasses. Zeus on the other hand, only knew that his favorite niece was tactile.

Because last time he came down she told him. Zeus wanted a good relationship with his niece. The relationship Hera, Hestia and Ares have with Percy. The relationship of a good natured family.

Zeus's attitude towards demigods changed dramatically when he saw that his wife was being extremely nicer to them. Especially his own kids. Zeus even rescinded the no contact with your children law. Apollo and Hermes actually said they loved their father because of that.

Apollo spent so much time with his children because of that. And with that law no longer in play, the gods had more energy to claim their children. It explained why Will was happier when Percy got to camp.

But Zeus had ordered the gods who had kids not to over do it. Otherwise they would seem like a helicopter parent. And he knew that kids didn't really like that about their parents.

As the trio walked to the Kent home, the two gods and the demigod talk and laughed. Percy was happy with her two companions.

When they were in front of the house, they paused. They sensed two new demigods in the home. They all knew these kids were children of Hades because of the power they radiated.

And they were the ones Zeus tried to kill in DC back in the '40s and Hades then put into the lotus casino. They knew the time shock had to been brutal for the pair. Percy entered the home followed by Zeus and Poseidon.

"Mom! Dad! I'm home!" Percy yelled into the house

Dianna came to where she heard the voice of her daughter. Clark followed his wife to see his little bay girl.

"Oh, my baby." Dianna said

Percy hugged her mother tightly. Then Percy moved to hug Clark. Dianna saw her father and uncle standing by the door.

"Father? Uncle? What are two two doing here?" Dianna asked

"We walked Persephone home." Zeus said with Poseidon nodding

The two new demigods soon showed their faces.

"Who are you two?" Zeus asked

But he knew. He knew who they were. The question was purely for Percy's benefit.

"I'm Bianca Di Angelo. And this is my little brother Nico." Bianca said

"They're our foster kids." Dianna said

"Well, I'm Persephone Kent. But please call me Percy. I kinda get scary when a non perennial figure calls me Persephone." Percy said with a kind warm smile that resembled her mother's

Clark, Dianna, Poseidon and Zeus laughed at this. It was true. They all saw how scary she could be. Roy had made that mistake once and had to go see his brother in infirmary after that.

Zeus and Poseidon both introduced themselves to the Di Angelo kids with a kind smile. Poseidon looked to Percy and Dianna with a sad look in his eyes. There was that look in Zeus's eyes as well.

"Well Dianna, prinkípissa, Zeus and I have to go back. Or Aphrodite will ground us. And I for one don't want piss her off." Poseidon said

Percy and Dianna laughed at that. They both knew the goddess of love and beauty was the big three's aunt. And she could get very angry if you push the wrong buttons. That was why Percy wanted to be on Aphrodite's good side.

Percy hugged her father tightly while Dianna hugged her own father just as tight.

"I'm going to miss you papa." Percy said

That was another thing. Ever since meeting the sea god, Percy called him papa. Clark was still daddy to Percy.

"I'm going to miss you too prinkípissa." Poseidon said

The two girls switched deities. Zeus hugged his niece tightly. He silently prayed to the creator (remember in Greek mythology the creator is a guy named Chaos) that his Roman child got along with Percy. What he didn't know was they met and talked on a regular basis.

And Jason loved Percy. Well Jason loved Percy as much as one could love a cousin.

"Love you Uncle." Percy said

"Love you too niece." Zeus said

They left with Percy feeling a little bit depressed. Over the past year, Percy had gotten close to her birth father. When someone from school asked about him, Percy always said the same thing.

He was was lost at sea right before she was born, and when he was found Percy had already been adopted by Clark Kent.

The day soon turned to night. Clark built a little bonfire in the backyard. Hot dogs were roasted, s'mores were made. An a bunch of laughs were dealt out.

Percy had gotten to know Bianca and Nico some. Like how Nico loves the game Mytho magic. Or how Bianca love cooking.

Percy made a plan to help her cousin in the kitchen.
