Roy had been at camp half blood for a month and a half already. He finally gotten used to having brothers and other family. He also gotten used to the way things worked around there.
Roy learned things that could help him with his superhero responsibilities. Like archery, hand to hand combat and keeping his scent masked away from the Greek monsters that want to eat him. That helped a lot seeing as he had blood of two gods in him.
Roy also noticed that Percy would disappear every afternoon. Then reappear a half hour before dinner. She told him that everyday she goes to Themycira to train.
She needed fighting training and training as a Royal. A thing Dianna didn't do very well and was not her strong suit.
Now he and Percy had a quest. Well a mission really. They had to get a real important and dangerous Greek artifact from Oliver's office at Queen Consolidated. The one he brought back from his island prison of Lian Yu.
For this one, all the two had to do was say they came for a visit. It was easy enough. If it wasn't for the fact that Oliver was in the precess of hiring Beryl Grace. The mother of Thalia Grace. Percy's dead turned tree cousin.
"Mr. Harper, Ms. Kent will you two wait out here? Mr. Queen is in a meeting." Oliver's secretary Annie said
Annie knew how important Roy and Percy were to her boss.
"Sure." Roy and Percy said in unison
The two demigods sat down. Roy put on his demigod glasses and picked up a sports illustrated. The swimsuit issue. They saw a kid around their age was sitting across from them.
Well Percy was the one who really saw him. Then she noticed the writing on the book he was reading. It was Roman writing. Percy vigorously tapped Roy's arm. She knew the Roman's and the Greeks didn't have a good relationship.
In fact Athena hated her Roman half because she was a Virgin and not the goddess of war and wisdom in that sector. And Minerva had envied Athena because she had something Minerva didn't. Kids and the war and wisdom titles.
Percy knew this too. She had met Minerva during winter break right before Christmas. She had told Percy how she hated the people who took her titles away. Athena and Minerva knew those things about each other.
Athena and Minerva said so.
"Roy!" Percy said in a whisper
Roy looked up from the magazine.
"What!?" He whispered back
"That's Roman writing." Percy whispers
"Are you absolutely sure?" Roy asked whispering back
"100%." Percy whispered
"You've been paying too much attention to Chiron in class last year." Roy whispers to his friend
"I had him as a teacher for two years in a row. He rubs off on you after that long." Percy whispers
Soon the two start a whisper argument. Percy wanted to slap or punch the boy in front of her. The boy across from them looked up from his book. He looked to the people in front of him. It was a bit amusing to him.
"Are you two done arguing? Because if you're not, I can leave." The boy said
"Sorry. My cousin here is a weirdo." Roy said
Percy gasps and dramatically puts her hand over her heart. She was acting like what Roy had said to the boy in front of them had hurt her. But it hadn't. That was Percy and Roy's thing. They acted like things they said hurt.
