Den and Alyssa are sitting beside each other, holding one can of cold beer each.
Nasan sila?

"Tangina naman Ly, iinom lang pala tayo, nag-La Union pa," Den said.
Ly chuckled, "okay na 'to, biglaan, oh di ba natuloy din plano natin?"
Den laughed and nodded, "bitch. May work kaya tomorrow."
"Edi AWOL. Sus, Den, kulang na lang ikaw bumuhat sa team niyo, wag kang bayani dyan," biro ni Ly.
Ngumiti lang si Den at nabalot sila ng katahimikan. Only the sound of the waves can be heard.
Pangatlong can and Den's already dizzy. And napansin yun ni Ly.
"Tignan mo 'to, lakas ng loob mag-tatlong can e nalalasing din naman agad," Ly said while looking at Den na nakayuko na, "Den, hoy, tara na sa hotel," Ly said, tapping Den's shoulder but Den didn't respond, "Den, huy!" She called Den again. Then she noticed Den's sobbing, "Den? Hoy, umiiyak ka ba?"
"Ly," Den said and looked at Alyssa, she's crying.
"Bakit ka umiiyak????" Alyssa asked, worry is written all over her face.
"Hindi ba talaga pwede?" Den asked, making her sob loudly, "hindi ba talaga tayo pwede?" She asked again.
Alyssa froze. She don't know what to react. Akala niya everything's alright between them, that Den could manage.
"Den..."
Den reached out for Alyssa's face and kissed the latter aggressively, Alyssa couldn't react... Then, Den broke the kiss and leaned her head on Alyssa's shoulder.
"Alyssa naman e," Den said while she's crying, "why do you have to do that? Why did you have to make me feel special? Bakit kailangan mong iparamdam sa'kin na mahal mo rin ako? All those efforts and promises, why did you have to do that kung hindi mo rin naman pala ako sasaluhin sa dulo? Why did you let me fall alone, Ly? Why???" Den asked in between her sobs as she punch Alyssa's chest, "gusto kong magalit, gusto kitang sapakin, murahin, but all I can do is to accept the truth na hindi tayo pwede. Tangina, Alyssa, tangina talaga. Napakabullshit ng rason mong hindi mo kaya. Sana inisip mo muna yon bago ka pumasok sa buhay ko at ginawa lahat ng ginawa mo. I hate you, Ly, I hate you, but I hate myself more kasi kahit ganon, mahal pa rin kita, tangina talaga," Den let the alcohol talk.
Den managed to keep it for over a year, after she asked Alyssa what they really are but Alyssa said she can only offer friendship.
Even though she loves Den, too.
"Why do you have to hurt me like this, Ly?" Den said and she passed out.

Den woke up with a massive headache. Pagdilat ng mata niya, she saw Alyssa peacefully sleeping beside her.
Wala siyang maalala from what happened last night.
"Shit shit shit," she uttered to herself, kinakabahan siyang baka may nasabi siyang hindi dapat.
"Ang aga aga nagmumura ka," Alyssa said, eyes are still closed.
"What happened last night, Ly?" Den nervously asked.
Ly smirked at mas kinabahan si Den.
"Wala," Alyssa answered.
"Sure????? Ba't ka nagsmirk???"
"Tinulugan mo kasi ako, I had to carry you pa pabalik ng hotel, bigat mo kaya," Ly said.
"Aba ang kapal naman ng mukha mo," Den said at pinalo si Ly ng unan.
Tumawa lang si Ly, she opened her eyes and finally looked at Den. Natigilan naman si Den.
"What?" Den asked.
"I'm sorry for hurting you," Alyssa answered.
Den's breath hitched.
"Fuck," she told herself. That's when she knew she broke down last night in front of Alyssa. And now, Alyssa knows.
She managed to smile, "shit, I'm never drinking alcohol again," she said, trying to reduce the awkward air, "sorry."
"Den," Ly called her.
"Oh?"
"Sorry," she heard Ly say.
Den couldn't look at Alyssa.
She can't look at those eyes again.
"Oo na, sige na, tama na," Den just answered.
