"Stop looking at her like that," I heard Ella say and I quickly looked away, I heard her laugh, "masyado kang obvious, Ly."
"What? Nag-zone out lang ako," I reasoned out.
"Zone out?? You were looking at Den like you have lost a very important thing in your life."
"I did," I answered and looked at her. She looked back with concern all over her face, "but it's fine. I mean, I didn't really lost her. I lost us."
"Still haunting you, huh?"
"Yeah... From time to time. Mostly when I see her. But as long as she's happy, I'm good."
"Will you be fine?"
I looked at Den again, busy talking with our other friends while her husband is beside her.
"Yeah, I guess," I answered and throw a smile on Den when she caught me looking at her. She smiled back, "I wish."
