"Don't saying anything about the whole someone following Kora and I incident." Keith said quietly to Lance. "Please. I don't want the others worrying so much."

"Fine." Lance mumbled. "But if it continues I'm saying something."

"Why do you care so much anyways?" Keith questioned softly as he leaned against his Derby car.

Lance hesitated. "Because you're a close friend. I care about you, more than you know Keith."

Keith felt hurt by the fact that he was called a close friend, but ignored it like it was nothing.

"I have to go." Keith said once he heard the announcer over the speaker. "My time to go. Kora should be in stands with the others."

Lance nodded and smiled. "Good luck. We'll be cheering you on."

Keith had won best looking car, again. But now it was time to determine who the real winner was.

There was only one heat. This heat consisted of 7 contestants.

Keith took a deep breath as he drove down to the blocked off area.

Something didn't feel right with his car. He felt as if something was wrong. It felt bumpier than usual.

Keith sucked in a breath.

Before he knew it, the sound of metal hitting against each other were being heard through his helmet.

Collecting himself, he pushed a car into a rock hard enough to stop the car from running.

"Is it just me." Krolia said as she looked over at her sons friends. "Or does it look like Keith is being more aggressive than normal."

Shiro frowned. "It does. I mean, sure Derby's you're suppose to be aggressive but he's never been this aggressive. This aggressiveness is on a whole other level."

Time flew and before they knew it there were two cars left.

Keith Vs Lotor.

Kora let out a small whimper as she clung onto Lance.

"What's wrong Kora?" Lance asked over the loudness of the cars.

"This isn't good." Kora said. "Not good at all."

Lance frowned. He couldn't do much. All they could do was stand and watch.

"Wait a second." Hunk said taking a closer look at Keith's now smoking car. "I don't think that's suppose to be happening."

Krolia sucked in a breath as she watched her son slam into Lotors car.

"TAKE HIM DOWN!" Kora screamed. "DON'T LET HIM BEAT YOU AGAIN!"

Keith put the car in reverse, pulling away from Lotor.

"Not good." Keith said to himself as he grinded his teeth together. "I can't let him win again."

Keith's car wasn't going as fast and at this point he barely had control over his steering.

Lotor slammed into the passenger door sending Keith into a boulder.

"No no no no." Keith said as he tried to move the car as much as could. But nothing.

It was over.
