"How am I going to tell her? Is she going to shut us out? Will she be mad at me? What if-"
"Babe." Lance said cutting off Keith's ranting. "Just take a breath. She may be upset. She may shut us out. But you have the option to either tell her or not tell her."
Keith sat on the bed his head in his hands as Lance stood in front of him with Sophia in his arms.
"I'm going to get started on breakfast." Lance mumbled giving Keith a peck on his head before leaving the room.
"Good morning Lance." Rosa greeted as the male walked into the living room.
"Morning Mama." Lance replied with a small smile. "This is Sophia."
Rosa gasped as she was handed her granddaughter.
The baby smiled up at her grandmother and reached out for her.
"My goodness." Rosa chuckled. "You're gorgeous."
Lance pulled out Sophia's toys and spreaded them out on the floor.
"You can play with her if you want. I'm going to get started on breakfast, just be careful she's starting to crawl." Lance warned as he headed into the kitchen.
Minutes have passed before Keith exited his room.
"Good morning Rosa." Keith smiled as Sophia's head turned at the sound of his voice. "Good morning Sophia."
Sophia giggled and reached out for Keith making his smile grow.
"How are you Keith?" Rosa asked getting up.
"I'm doing okay." Keith said. "How are you Rosa?"
"Better now that I'm here with you all." Rosa laughed.
Keith didn't say anything as he pecked Sophia on the forehead and set her back down with her toys before walking into the kitchen where Lance was.
The smaller male wrapped his arms around Lance's waist, snuggling into his back.
"You feeling better?" Lance questioned.
Lance felt Keith nod.
"Keith!" Kora exclaimed running into the kitchen. "School! I'm late! I'm so so so late!"
"Kora." Keith mumbled letting go of his boyfriend and turning to look at her. "There's a reason why I kept you home today."
"There is?" Kora questioned tiliting her head.
"Sit down." Keith said gently.
The 13 year old listened to Keith and took a seat at the island.
"Now you're going to hate what I have to say. And I don't want you to shut us out okay-"
"Keith just spit it out." Kora interrupted.
"Mom left us." Keith spat out.
"What do you mean she left us? I thought she left to protect us."
"She disowned us pretty much Kora." Keith explained. "She changed everything so you now are my daughter and her granddaughter. She left a message saying she didn't want anything to do with us."
Kora sat in silence as she let Keith's word settle in.
"I'm sorry." Keith whispered.
Kora quickly stood up from the chair, and ran to the front door.
"Kora!" Keith shouted. "Where are you going?!"
"Away from here!" Kora cried.
The door opened and got slammed shut.
Rosa turned around on the couch to find Keith standing in front of the door with his arm raised.
"Keith?" The mother asked. "Is everything okay?"
Keith shoulders shook as cries racked through his body.
"Nothings okay!" He said getting his shoes on.
Lance came out into the living room, following Keith's lead.
"Mom can you-"
"Watch Sophia." The women said. "I got it."
"Breakfast is ready. So you guys can have some." Lance said grabbing his keys. "We'll be back."
The two left the house quickly, the door shutting behind them.
"Looks like it's just us two for now Sophia." Rosa smiled at the baby.

"Kora!" Keith shouted as he walked through out the park. "Where are you?!"
"Babe! Shiro's on the phone!" Lance said as he walked over to Keith. "He has Kora."
Lance handed the phone to Keith, watching as the smaller male put the phone to his ear.
"Is she okay?"
"She's okay. Looks like she's been crying though. Keith what happened?"
"I'll explain later." Keith mumbled. "Is she okay with you guys for a few hours? I think she should calm down for a bit."
"Yeah she's okay here. Her and Adam are playing minecraft at the moment."
"Okay. When I pick her up I'll explain." Keith said.
"Alright. I'll talk to you guys later."

'My big brother is my dad now huh.' Kora thought to herself. 'Thanks for nothing mother.'
"Kora?" Adam questioned. "Do you want a hot chocolate or anything? I can whip us up some Candy cane Hot chocolate if you want."
Kora's mood immediately brightened as Adam asked that question. "Yes please!"
"So how's school going?" The male asked as he got everything he needed for the hot chocolate.
"It's going good. We are going on a trip to the high school next week. They'll tell us everything we need to know and all that." Kora said.
"That's exciting." Adam smiled.
"It is!" Kora giggled. "And then Keith and I are going to have to go find my graduation dress for grade 8! Even though I want to surprise Keith with my dress."
"Well Kora, I'm sure the girls are willing to help you find the dress you want."
"I want you and Shiro to go with me." Kora said shyly. "I feel like the others would put me under way to pressure. And they are into the sparkly pink dresses."
Adam was taken aback for a second. "We would love to take you Kora."
"Wait- should I start calling you and Shiro, Uncle Shiro and Uncle Adam?" Kora thought.
Kora had bursted into tears as she told Adam and Shiro all what happened as soon as she found the couple.
"That's up to you sweetheart." Adam said placing a mug in front of her. "So what kind of dress are you look for?"
"I'm thinking knee length and a dark color. Like black or Navy blue. Or even a dark purple." Kora explained. "Not to sparkly or girly though."
"Hmm I see." Adam hummed. "We can try our best. There's plenty of shops here in town that we can look at."
Kora smiled. "Thank you Adam."
