Keith let out a groan as he slowly opened his eyes.

Voices could be heard once he came to.

"He'll be fine. Well, besides his broken arm anyways."

"And what about Kora?" A male voice questioned.

'Lance?' Keith thought as he furrowed his eyebrows and looked over to where the voices were. 'Kora?'

The man in the white trench coat shook his head. "I hate to say it, but she's still in a coma. There's no telling when she'll wake up."

Keith's heart sped up, the heart monitor notified those in the room.

"Where's Kora?" Keith asked. "Where's my sister?"

"Keith, you need to calm down." The doctor said gently as he walked over.

"I'll calm down once you tell me where my sister is!" Keith growled as he sat up in the bed. "And where the hell is my mother?!"

"Keith." Lance said taking the males good hand. "Listen to me. You need to take a breath okay? We'll tell you everything once you calm down."

Keith took a breath as his heart rate went back to normal.

"You were in an accident." Shiro spoke up.

Keith flinched as he remembered his sisters screams as they flipped through the air.

"Keith?" Lance asked softly as the males body trembled in his arms.

"Is she okay?" Keith asked as he bit his lip to stop the cries.

The room went silent before the doctor spoke up.

"She's in a coma..." The doctor answered.

Keith sobs broke loose as he clung onto Lance.

"Where's my mother?" Keith asked through his cries.

"We can't get a hold of her." Shiro said looking at the ground.

"Of course you can't." Keith spat his anger growing as the tears of sadness turned into tears of anger. "She's been leaving a lot. I'm tired of it."

The room grew quiet once again as Keith struggled to stop crying.

"Keith, you're free to leave whenever." The doctor said. "Good luck."

Keith slowly stood up and ripped the needles out of his arms.

"Where are you going?" Shiro asked.

"Going to see my sister."

"Oh my god." Keith said as he covered his mouth at the sight of his little sister connected to a bunch of machines.

Lance watched quietly as Keith walked more into the room to his sister side.

"Kora." Keith mumbled as he grabbed his sisters hand. "It's your big brother, Keith. You have to come back to me. You have to fight babygirl. You have to fight it. I'm sorry! I should've brought you somewhere safe. I should've called the police. Than we wouldn't be here, you wouldn't be hurting. I'm sorry Kora. I'm so sorry. It's all my fault. I failed as a brother. I failed to protect you. I broke my promise. I'm sorry."

Lance's heart broke as he watched the scene unfold in front of him.

"Lance?" Keith whispered. "How long has it been? Since the accident."
